Bone scan in 2019 did not show any skeletal
metastasis
. In January 2020, he was commenced on LUPRON with a plan to continue that for several years and consider consolidative local radiotherapy to the prostate and pelvis if he responded.

UTIs monthly
I’m taking Ibrance and anastrozole anyone having UTIs. I get them once a month. I’m exhausted from this. My gp is going to put me on an antibiotic low dose daily, hopefully that helps. I drink a lot of water and juice but still get them. I’m 71 years old and never had this experience before. To be honest

Xeloda Vs Generic brand side effect differences
Hello fellow thrivers and fighters, My current line of treatment is Capecitabine, I've been on it for about three months and after a shaky start I'm getting used to it. My onc already reduced the dosage once due to painful hand and foot syndrome, but it's still a real issue for me. However this cycle

implant removal
I am having my reconstructive breast implants removed tomorrow because one has broken through the skin on my radiated side. (Reconstruction was in 2015) I’m on Piqray and Fluvestrant. The surgeon is not familiar with it, just knows that Diabetes (caused by the Piqray) makes healing a challenge

Xgeva or Zometa, which is better?
I have been on Xgeva for over two years because I have
metastasis
on my bones. My MO suggests that I could stop the Xgeva. Please, I have some questions, and I need help. If I stop the Xgeva can I start Zometa? Is there any difference between Xgeva and Zometa?

Oh oh!! Got my second loading dose of Fulvestrant today, first dose given two weeks ago. By the time I got home from the doctor's office I had a flat red rash on my behind about the size of two quarters, about 5 inches away from where the shot was given (right side). I didn't think much about it..

Treatment options for metastatic prostate cancer?
Surgery was scheduled for March but I insisted on a PSMA PET Scan and they found the
metastasis
, and the tumors were too large to remove so thats when they started this treatment. We have been seeing an advanced prostate cancer Dr in the urology clinic in Tulsa, Ok.

Bone Biopsy Concern
Hello, I have lobular carcinoma metastatic breast cancer stage 4. My tumor markers have been on the rise for the last several months. I have had several scans including a bone scan and so far everything has been negative. My oncologist wants to do a bone biopsy. I am scared to death to do it.

I am curious. I am now going to be put on this since it spread to my liver and her treatment of tamoxifen and afinitor did not work bc my scan last week showed it has continued to spread in my liver. She mentioned I would be taking 8 pills per day broken down into four pills twice per day. And that
