PET to image estrogen receptors
Hello everyone and Merry Christmas! I read awhile back on here about women getting PET scans which used agents to image estrogen receptors, not the typical glucose agent. Can someone tell me what the test is called (PET imaging with FES?) and if you’ve used it, has it helped in detection of any new

PSA Testing Scandal - Lost Years of Life - Updated re: QoL
Note added at later date:
The loss revealed by a diagnosis of prostate cancer with
metastasis
is not only in years, but also in the
quality of life
during the years that are left. Metastases usually quickly and significantly impair one's quality of life.

Has anyone tried anastrozole or exemestane?
Hi all! Until I read your posts about side effects of Letrazole I finally realized I’m living with these same muscle and joint aches in my legs. I’ve always been very fit and active and this year tore my plantars fascia (boot for 3 months) and during a Pilates class did something to strain my hip flexor

Treatment change to Xeloda - chemo 💊
I have started the first round of Xeloda a chemo pill 💊. Taking 4 pills twice daily for 14 days then 7 days off. So far so good, none of the side effects as of yet. I am prepared however. Our hope 🙏🏾 is that it will reduce and/or eliminate my cancer met tumors to lung cavity and liver. I would love

Should our RO's be doing HDR for Gleason 9?
Thankfully, Pylarify PSMA-Pet scan was clear with no lymph node or bone
metastasis
. So, he is cT3b N0M0. 2 urologist/surgeons thought surgery wasn't recommended because he would have needed pelvic radiation anyway.

I would like to connect with fellow warriors that are HSPC and on Darolutamide to discuss Time to Failure, early detection assays etc...

metastasis
is detected shortly after the detection of elevated lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) levels, and “non-AR-driven” characteristics appear immediately after the loss of TP53 or RB140.

While these may be reactive, given the priordisease in the chest, findings are worrisome for

. Testosterone which had been <7 since 2020 now read 11. Dr. suggested take Lupron and rescan in December. On the drive home, I decide I don't want to wait.

I was diagnosed with MBC both lobular and ductal with Mets to bones in spine, ribs, pelvis, neck and skull this past June. I’ve been on Ibrance for 3 months and first scan and numbers are going in the right direction. My Onc originally gave me the choice between Ibrance and Kisqali. At the time we

Info on likelihood of lung damage from ribociclib after permanent lung damage from Ibrance
My onc is having my cancer cells tested to see if they are still E +, and suggested fulvestrant plus ribociclib if theyare. I was on Ibrance, another CDK blocker, for a few cycles in 2016 and developed Interstitial Lung Disease, which my pulmonologist described as being like "gunk between the air pockets
