Never-ending IBS issues no matter what I do (Post and Question)
I am currently a college student and I have suffered from IBS issues for almost my whole life. I have constantly been in and out of different physicians and no matter what treatment they put me on my issues will come back and come back much worse than they were before. I have noticed now as a college

Israeli experts show that some already widely used drugs help fight COVID-19.
I stumbled across this while searching for vaccine safety information for my wife- she has both LUPUS and antiphosopholipid syndrome. Looks like statins, Pepcid, Anti-cholesterol fibrates, and even Viagra can help tamp it down. I'm on 3 of them plus Vit D & C. Time to make a reservation at my favorite

Has anyone ever taken Amitripyline for spasms in the esophagus? I am new—-this is my first post. I have been having severe pain in between my breast that radiates through my back —last about five to ten minutes then totally no pain at all. It happens a lot after rushing and being stresses and after

Something to try if you suffer from the dreaded MPN itches
For the past 3 days I have been suffering from severe hives and angioedema that I believe may be related to covid-19 since I also was coughing and had a fever. I didn't get tested because I just was too sick to leave the house. I tried 4 different antihistamines...hydroxyzine, diphenhydramine, allegra

Weird feeling 3 weeks after getting stents.
Hi! I am a 53 year old male. I am very active and play Table Tennis for couple of hours almost every day. I got a nuclear stress test that showed abnormality. This prompted my cardiologist for me to get a catheterization done. During Catheterization the doctor discovered 99.9% was blocked and the radial

Persistent dry cough after Chemo and radiation
My husband is running out of treatment options. His biggest problem in terms of quality of life is a persistent dry cough particularly after eating. He is trying an acid reducer Pepcid. He had a very bad reaction to Prilosec when he tried that. We think it might be acid reflux. Has anyone had this super

Prednisone taper and fever
I have been on prednisone for 10 years. After doses of 60 40 30 20 15 10 milligrams, I am finally down to where the prednisone does less harm. I never thought I would see 7 mg. I was told by my rheumy that 7mg is the dose that does the least harm since it is what our body makes each day. So now

*New Treatment*
Previous treatment of Tecentriq+Abraxane was beginning to stop working so my oncologist switched me to Carboplatin+Gemzar. Funny thing is, this is the treatment she was considering before but she went with the Tecentriq+Abraxane instead. Even though it was beginning to not work anymore, I’m glad I got

Naproxen
I am just under 3 months post ablation for svt. March 17 I was diagnosed with costochondritis after a bout with pleurisy via viral infection. I was put on naproxen. My question is, can naproxen cause palpitations? And it also feels like my heart is working harder. For example when I take my daily walk

Anxiety and heartburn lately
I know its a tough time for everyone, but my anxiety is definitely at a heightened level. I have noticed over the last few week I have issues with heartburn. It keeps coming back and now I take an OTC Pepcid to have manage it. Is this something new I have to worry about? It makes me anxious because I

In the dumpster again
Yesterday I really tried to get moving. Did some time on bike and took care of paperwork and meditated in the morning. Short yoga in afternoon. Was doing ok till I had some cheese and cracker in the evening. Stomach and gut rebelled. Made my anxiety worse again. Extreme belching and knot in stomach

Silent reflux or something else?
Back in June, my psychiatrist switched my antidepressant from Pristiq to Paxil because I felt that Pristiq was no longer working for me. When I started the Paxil I also started having this weird shortness of breath that I initially thought was some side effect of anxiety. I stopped this Paxil after a

Whine whine whine
Thank you for being here. I am new here. I am angry, scared and exhausted. And apparently no one in my household can offer support as I was just told to suck it up; at least I'm beating it and at least I'm not dead. So again, I thank you for being here to listen to me whine. I was diagnosed with triple
