Coolness in feet, legs and one side of neck - Could it be nerve healing?
Hi and thanks for reading my post! I'm approaching 1 year of B12 injections and in the last week or two I've been having some occasional coolness in my feet, and sometimes in my lower legs up to my knee. The coolness in my feet sometimes starts as an almost burning pain in my right outer toes. It

Anti Seizure Medicine after brain meningioma surgery
Hi Everybody, What anti seizure medicine has everyone had luck with not having any side effects? I’m on Levetiracetam 500mg twice a day and am having heartburn, digestional issues, and trouble swallowing. I’m allergic to PPI’s and Pepcid. I was hoping the doctor would wean me off this medicine soon.

Is Prolia worth the risk.
I’m 74 and have never had a broken bone. I was diagnosed as being high risk for fracture. Because I have reflux issues and take Pepcid, my doctor wants to put me on Prolia. I’m concerned about all the side effects and wonder if it is worth the risk. I’m new to these kinds of boards. My doctor never

IMO I have Confirmed - stomach acid is primary cause for my Afib attacks
Yesterday I did not eat as well as I normally do and started getting ectopics and even short SVT runs. I knew I was in the danger zone for an aFib attack. I took some pepcid and tums and it stopped - then I ate my evening fiber rich cereal snack a bit later, and an hour or so later started getting

Nausea/Stomach Post-transplant
I am about 4 months post-transplant. I have been suffering with nausea and stomach issues, along with chronic constipation or, when I take a prescription laxative like Linzess, then I have to stay around the house and have bowel movements constantly all day. I have used miralax, psyllium husks, prunes

First dose of Taxol in the books
First dose down first IV chemo first port use and it was largely uneventful. My doc has a very elaborate pre-med strategy that may be why. Last night I had to take five steroid pills (four night before next dose, then 3 etc). Took a Claritin and a Pepcid this morning. Drinking 2 glasses of water with

What about Pepcid (famotidine)?
I am in the US and take OTC Pepcid (Famotidine) for the stomach effects of Pred. I notice that in the forum, most of you are taking other acid reducers. Pepcid rarely gets mentioned. So I'm wondering if I have missed a memo or something. Is Pepcid not recommended for people on Pred ? My reason for using

ER visit reaction
Hey everyone just wanted to share a story and see if anyone can relate. I ate something from a restaurant that I always ate from but 2 hours later my face got flushed and swollen and I felt like I had a hard time breathing so I went to the ER (usually it’s panic though just a side note.. Ulcer Medication question
What ulcer medication is OK to take with Kidney problems. From what I read, Nexium and PPI's and medications like Pepcid are hard on the kidneys. What can safely be taken for ulcers or acid reflux? Or, Are they OK to take as long as it is not for a long period.

Update After 3 Cabazitaxel Treatments.
I am receiving chemotherapy every three weeks. I had my 3rd infusion on Thursday, November 4. The good news is that I have been tolerating Cabazitaxel much better than expected so far. I have been forcing myself to get on the elliptical machine in my house 3 to 5 times per week. The ignition is difficult

Adventures with Cabazitaxel
Hey gang, Was supposed to begin the first of six Cabazitaxel sessions last Friday(the six Taxotere rechallenge failed) , but the pharmacy messed up the mixture and it got moved to today! Looked up the cost, and Kaiser wasted $7800 with that error. Hoping the switch to Cabazitaxel does the job.

Underdosed with Armour
I have a couple of questions regarding people’s experience with Armour Thyroid after reformulation. A quick history: I have MS (diagnosed in 1981) and Grave’s Disease (hyperthyroidism) (diagnosed in 1986). Thyroid ablation with RAI in 1987. On Synthroid for over a year during which I was basically non-functional
