Things, regimens, etc that are probably RLS worthless.
THINGS THAT DO NOT WORK FOR RLS All of us with RLS/PLMD have slightly different symptoms. We have tried various 'remedies' to try to relieve our RLS symptoms. We have read articles, some interesting, some ridiculous (bar of soap) that make amazing promises. And there is an entire array of things to

Pretty Lady PTSD Mary
Have had a breakdown in 97 due to flashbacks not remembered and abuse done by family members. I always remember the abuse done by my father who was a monster.Only now there was more abuse by him to add to my story. PTSD opened doors to numerous mental health issues along with unfortunately physical health

Sitting is a pain 😖
Does anyone experience anal/rectal discomfort when sitting on hard surfaces? I feel it comes and goes. I'm female and don't have hemorrhoids What have doctors told you? Have you been diagnosed with anything? Has anything helped?

My consultant has suggested I try Valproate or Levetiracetam for my RLS/PLMD. Has anybody tried either of these and had any success or otherwise?

Could use encouragement - Depressed and Anxious, New Medication offered by Psychiatrist - It’s been a Hot Minute
I haven’t posted in a while, nor responded to people, but I could really use some encouragement. Sorry! I’m very depressed and anxious these days, SADD getting to me. My psychiatrist has offered a nasal spray 2x a week for 8 weeks that will work for up to five years to decrease depression. I’m waiting

THC Gummies
THC gummies worked for the first couple of times but, last time I took it I was super paranoid and definitely not sleeping. It’s not for me . To date, I’m taking one Pramipexole and one 12.5 ambien day night and sleep 4-5 hours and experience mild to no symptoms the following day. So far so good

Success with clonidine as a supplementary medication
Sharing some recent success. I have taken pregabalin 300mg for a number of years but have also supplemented it with a very small dose of clonazepam (between 0.125 and 0.5m) I started weaning off clonazepam approx 3 months ago because it's not desirable to take benzodiazepines long term (i'm weaning

Hi... I've never really opened up about my PTSD to anyone. I never knew how to explain it nor knew what it was. I realized I have triggers, but never defined them as trauma until a few years ago. For me it stems from childhood back in my family household; my father's alcoholism, and my first relationship

How do you counter a negative self-loathing thought when it has solid evidence?
It's a genuine question. They always say you have to counter your bad thoughts because they're usually wrong or irrational or whatever, but what if it's just a regular observation? It's not irrational or anything, it's just a thought coming from evidence gathered throughout my life and enforced by continues

PTSD versus CPTSD
the DSM does not recognise CPTSD as a diagnosis. Here in NZ if you have PTSD from multiple trauma it is diagnosed as such. I’m interested in other countries interpretation of the diagnostic DSM manual and why they diagnose CPTSD as opposed to PTSD from multiple trauma. A psychiatrist, I believe is
