sad and unemployed

I got another email thanking me for applying, but they’re going with another candidate. I’ve worked 9 months in the last 3 years. This time around I haven’t worked in 1 year, but I’ve applied to a lot of jobs (health insurance field/ good hours/ less stress) with no success bec. of my employment history). Tomorrow I’m going to look for a less desirable job like patient care (bad hours/ more stress). a broken record, but I‘ve lost confidence and I’m scared. I’ve had a hard time functioning due to intermittent anxiety, brain fog, depression and insomnia. Thanks for listening.

Really sorry to hear , it's a harsh place, especially in USA, trying to get employment when you've not had luck with health...if only recruiters realised it could be them or anyone next, who becomes too sick to work through none of their own fault...humans aren't robots but recruiters treat us that way. You've got lots to offer, and patient care may be quite a rewarding job ? Best wishes for your future success

Thank you for your kind message. I’ll try home health or home hospice; it’s only one patient at a time. I’m an RN x 28 yrs. If it’s too much, I can try for > disability from the VA . I want to work. I really appreciate your encouragement. Goodness, the heat driving from patient to patient (probably lose weight/ stay hydrated).

patient care sounds good and they are probably desperate for someone like you - good luck - let us know when you are lucky or otherwise, keep us updated
