drenching sweats
I had to stop hrt because of a
meningioma
i had last year. The drs said that hormone treatment could make it come back so I have to find natural remedies......this is killing me, I'm exhausted from lack of sleep, I wake up about 3 in morning with sweat, nausea and anxiety.

Some good news.
It was found coincidentally when I had a PET for a spinal
meningioma
which was removed surgically in July of that year. I had my latest PET yesterday and got the report today that everything looks stabilized, no change in the results since a couple years ago.

Meningioma Recovery
27 days into my recovery from
meningioma
surgery. Starting week 5 with so many questions, I hear a dripping noise recently. Is that normal? Also, as the numbing decreases the weight of the surgery seems to become heavier. My face (right upper side) literally feels heavy.

looking for virtual support group
A dear friend of mine had two surgeries a month ago to remove a
meningioma
tumor. She’s interested in attending a
meningioma
support group (virtually, like via Zoom). I’ve been looking online but haven’t found many synchronous options for her. Does anyone know of any?

newly diagnosed with left frontal lobe meningioma, and told not to worry
I have been having awful headaches since November 2023 I went to a&e in Jan from the advice of my doctors. I had a ct scan which showed a swollen mass on my brain but it’s most likely benign as it hasn’t grown since 2021. That was news to me as I didn’t even know I had this as back in 2021 I attended

Initial diagnosis Ataxia but then a Brain Tumour
Once I had my MRI I was diagnosed with a
Meningioma
Brain Tumour which was causing my Ataxic Gait. I was going to leave this group as it felt wrong as that is not what I have. Some really kind people asked me to stay and keep in touch on here. I had my surgery 3 Feb 2022.

Update on my father
The radiology reports go back and forth, more likely a
meningioma
with direct leptomeningeal enhancement but could be from prostate cancer. They told us that they wanted to shrink or stop the tumor from growing and slow down the lepto enhancement to stop the headaches.

Meningioma and IVF
Would love to hear from anyone who has been through IVF with an inoperable
meningioma
. There is some debate between consultants about how the high dose of hormones could encourage growth in my (so far) dormant
meningioma

Meningioma diagnoses
My GP called me today about my MRI results and I have been told they think it’s a
Meningioma
tumour in my frontal lobe. Didn’t even ask the size as was in shock. But my only symptom is Pulsatile tinnitus.

can’t take it all in
diagnosed with
meningioma
in October 2022. It’s pressing on my brain stem. Suggested by registrar to possibly monitor for a year, but if I really want it out sooner to contact him. My diagnosis came from having trigenimal neuralgia. Being treated with gabapentin for pain.
