looking for virtual support group

A dear friend of mine had two surgeries a month ago to remove a meningioma tumor. She’s interested in attending a meningioma support group (virtually, like via Zoom). I’ve been looking online but haven’t found many synchronous options for her. Does anyone know of any?

I don't know of any zoom groups, but your friend could look into Meningioma Mammas (and Poppas) on Facebook and also Inspire.com (American Cancer Society website). Inspire has a community for meningioma patients. Both sites are very supportive with a wide range of experience.

Hello, thank you for your post. There are some zoom support groups run by Brain Tumour Support and you can see the list of upcoming dates and group topics here: braintumoursupport.co.uk/su... It would be worth reaching out to them directly to see whether they are running any Meningioma specific support sessions, as they do have different groups on each month.

The Brain Tumour Charity also have a Meningioma Facebook Support group, which your friend may find helpful, for connecting with others with the same diagnosis: facebook.com/groups/TbtcMen... I hope this helps.

Warm wishes, the Support Team
