Although my meningioma is different it is a shock to the system to learn you have a brain tumour, I hope you are well on your way to recovery. I was diagnosed with right front lobe Atypical meningioma aggression on the 25th of may this year as it was large and growing fast I was operated on 6 days later for full gross total resection I was in hospital for 30 days I still suffer severe headaches and bad pressure on area tumour was removed and neck pain and have had 3 full on seizures since operation the doctor upped my medication from 2000mg of keppra daily to 3000mg and 100 mg of vimpat and I haven’t had a seizure since I have an mri coming up the end of September this year but because of severe headaches snd pressure I am in on Tuesday to get a repeat scan I just have feeling it’s coming back because of symptoms but hopefully I am wrong and it is still effects from operation either way I will get some peace known if it is or not

Hi Clayden, thanks for your reply. Yours is different but it’s still great to know there are others… by now, you’ve had your latest scan due to the headaches. I hope🤞🏼 it’s just headaches and that at least you have an answer and reason. 🤞🏼.?wishing you ALL the best!

my meningioma is atypical, grade 1 or possibly 2. But they said it was slow growing and benign. Yours sounds like I didn’t think meningiomas acted that way. Thank you for sharing.

Clayden, I’ve been thinking of you and hoping for good news for your peace and piece of mind. Take care, good luck and thank you for reaching out to me when I was so lost. I still haven’t heard from anyone who had a meningioma and just had the gamma knife, SRS, surgery. Hoping to hear from others. All the best to you. Cheers, Clayden.
