Rollercoaster of a Month
Thank you to everyone who commented on my kidney & NSAIDs post. Kidneys were given the ok, slightly inflamed but no damage. The aim was still to reduce NSAIDs but without an alternative, I was struggling and felt I wasn't getting the support. In the end I decided to change rheumatologist and so GP referred

what could have caused this sudden change in symptoms?
However, this morning, I felt so tired that I took a pill of
Medrol
(4 mg) and, sure enough, after an hour or so, I started feeling better, no longer cold, more energy.

after weaning off prescription drugs for adrenal fatigue
It seems that most if not all Hertoghe doctors, once they've diagnosed you with adrenal fatigue, put you on prescription drugs (either hydrocortisone or
Medrol
) for life.

Depo Medrone - Does it help with Fatigue?
Hi, I'm new here. I have been having symptoms for about 2 years. After two bouts of shingles. It was manageable, until about 6 months ago. The pain and the fatigue amongst a long list of others things finally made me seek help. My GP suggested that Lupus may be the cause and referred me to a Rhuematologist

Depo-medrol Injections for the treatment of PMR
As a consequence, my wife and I graphed the release profile of depo-
medrol
and used my previous flare points as a guideline to determine that 80mg weekly injections should be the minimum dose necessary to control my symptoms.

HI, I'M BACK!
Hi, everyone. I have been off-line for a few weeks because the nerve pain I had been experiencing took over my life. Every time that someone touched my right palm, inner elbow, or shoulder, my back arched up like a cat and I felt as if I was being stabbed with knives from my shoulders to my fingers

Hello again everyone!
I've not been on here for a while but been quite busy. For those of you who remember me, I recovered from my emergency bowel surgery last Christmas (just left a hideous scar), my knee replacement has healed well and I can walk quite well now. I was attending the Pain Clinic but after questioning why

AFIB and Spiriva
I saw my PCP last week and he put me on
Medrol
for a 6 day period. I also had a chest x-ray which showed nothing. Today I saw my regular cardiologist (not my EP), and he told me it sounds like asthma. Never had this in my life!

Teeth fracture
Could my medications of Humira weekly, methotrexate,
medrol
, and other lesser drugs be causing the teeth fractures?

how to interpret thyroid labs?
Since weaning off
Medrol
for adrenal fatigue six months ago I have noticed an increased need for NDT...but I'd hate to go back on
Medrol
after finally being able to wean off it.

RT3 dominance...?
In February, I had labs on 8 grains of Erfa daily (24 h after taking NDT): TSH <0.01 (0.2-4.0) FT4 0.9 (ref 0.8-1.6) FT3 2.9 (ref 1.7-3.7) Around this time, I managed to wean off

Can Depo Medrol injection cause sciatica?
I had my first Depo
Medrol
injection on Friday, into the top of my bum. On Sunday I started with a flare of back pain and sciatica. Is it possible that the injection has caused this?

have recently had the strangest experience, would appreciate comments on this
Earlier this year, I managed to wean off
Medrol
for adrenal fatigue. I had been taking it since late 2011, took 6 mg daily at one point, then 4 mg daily for the last two years on it.

Nutri Adrenals Extra
I have been taking adrenal cortex since weaning off
Medrol
in February, but I have to say I find this ACE product pretty weak...some days, when I feel really tired and stressed out, I take 4 mg of
Medrol
, and the difference is amazing...so I am either going back on it, or finding a suitable replacement

adrenal fatigue questions
Earlier this year, I managed to wean off
Medrol
which I had been on since late 2011, after being diagnosed with adrenal fatigue in November 2011. Since then, I had been on either 6 or 4 mg of
Medrol
daily alternatively.

Taper Reducing Medrol by 2 mg at a time
with all the reading I've done, that seems too fast. And the rheumy said it's ok if I want to do it by 1 mg increments... However, the smallest tab the pharmacies have is 4 mg! And that's a small tab... So cutting it in fourths seems to be a rather risky estimation... I dropped from 10 mg to 8 mg 4

ferritin - iron?
A few months ago, I managed to wean off
Medrol
, after more than four years on it (diagnosed with adrenal fatigue in late 2011). After two months off
Medrol
, my periods came back, and are now regular once again.
