Suffering from incontinence?
Hello; I am a 23 year PC survivor diagnosed at age 52. I had a radical prostatectomy, followed by 35 treatments of radiation a year later and underwent a orchiectomy a year later. Since that time I have been cancer free. For approx. 20 years my incontinence was relatively minor (1 pad per day) Since

I had a radical prostatectomy September 30, 2015. (DaVinci) PSA 10.0 Gleason score was 4+4=8. Today my PSA 0.4. However incontinence is still present. Not to bad, but not completely healed yet either, also impotence is a big problem. Any ideas on how to try to fix these two issues? Would like to hear

My introduction
Greetings from Trinidad and Tobago. I had a PSA test as part of a routine job application in 2002, which came back slightly high -- 6.42, as I remember. This rose to 21.7 over the next two years, during which It took four biopsies (43 cores) to find that I had cancer of the prostatic ducts -- a rare

Radiation
I was diagnosed with prostrate cancer end of July 2015. In October, I had a radical prostatectomy at the VA hospital. In January, I had a follow-up PSA test with a level of 0.07. The doctors told me it should be 0.00 but no more than 0.02 so I still have cancer somewhere in the tissue. My Gleason index

Lipids & aggressive PCa in the PRACTICAL consortium
New study below [1]. A large study, involving 10 countries & 22,249 cases. "We found weak evidence that higher LDL and {triglyceride} levels increase aggressive prostate cancer risk, and that a variant in HMGCR (that mimics the LDL lowering effect of statin drugs) reduces risk." "Weak evidence" but

Living with Metastatic Prostate Cancer
My story starts with a colonoscopy in 2008. A small lump was discovered on my prostate so I went to an Urologist who recommended a biopsy. My PSA at the time was 2.1. At that time I did what the doctor ordered. The biopsy was perform in his office and was extremely painful to me. I do believe that

Do not remember life without HIV. I used to think life before being positive and life with HIV. Now it life before the medication & life with medication. Never understood bigotry or segregation until I started the meds. Now I live it everyday, I sit alone on a crowded bus, outside my neighborhood I get

Generally speaking I do pretty well with my PD. I have some aches and pains this week but they will sort themselves out. What I am frustrated about is my lack of sleep. I just took.25 milligrams of clonazepam to see if that will help. Last night I took.25 milligrams xanax and the night before that I

Post Mesh Nerve Damage
Hi everyone, I have had 12 surgeries to remove trans vaginal mesh, causing nerve injury and/or damage. It's been about a year since the last removal, supposed to have removed all the remaining mesh. The pain is still here, I have had numerous blocks, ablations, physical therapy.... I am just wondering
