A new member hoping to learn from others
Hello, I'm new to this forum. I've had RLS for most of my life but getting worse the last few years, especially since starting Sertraline a couple of months ago - I'm up every night pacing the floor and don't get to sleep before 2am usually. I also get that periodic leg movement thing while awake; that's

kimchi. Very interesting interview
https://www.theenergyblueprint.com/the-kimchi-diet/ I know fermented foods have been mentioned before but this is an interesting talk on the health benefits, especially if you are thinking about trying probiotics. I also found some articles on how it may be effective against viruses and work was done

Restless leg
I’ve had restless leg most of my life and am still having a daily battle against it. It even affects me during the day. Hot baths will stop it but will start again soon after you leave the tub. Nice for a time out! Requip is the only thing that almost works every time. It can make you sleepy so using

Advice please
In the last 3 months I have had 56 days of oral/IV steroid treatment and also IM methylprednisolone 120mg and kenalog 80 mg. The kenalog will be running out over the next week - I had it 3 weeks ago. Every time steroids have been stopped I’ve had a rebound in my symptoms and have ended up in hospital

Late period/No bleed after buserelin? Has this happened to any one else?
I'm currently on buserelin as down regging for FET. Have been on buserelin for 14 days but no bleed as yet. Was due to have blood test tomorrow but now have been booked in for a scan. I feel really stressed about it as I don't know what the implications are for the rest of the treatment. Definitely not

Dry eye from Lercanidipine
I have been on Lercanidipine 20mg for just over 2 months now and seem to have tolerated it well enough. Have had sever reactions to several other blood pressure meds in the past. I have had chronic dry eye symptoms the last couple of weeks out of nowhere. Despite buying & using several ocular drops

Amitriptyline update
Amitriptyline update, you was all correct and the bloody stuff made my RLS/PLMD Worse. Also didn't help my spinal pain at all. My GP has recommended Pregabalin to battle both RLS and Spine pain and my question is does anyone have success with Pregabalin with RLS

5th Clomid Cycle
I’ve just finished my 5th Clomid cycle which has resulted in another BFN. The tablets have caused me to ovulate every month but I haven’t fallen pregnant. There are no issues with husband and no other issues with me. Has anyone else experienced this? Got our appointment with the consultant next week

Restless legs/body, lack of sleep
Please can anyone recommend anything to help me sleep. I do lots of the self help stuff, magnesium tabs/baths, chamomile, meditation etc but I've had the worst 2 nights of restless legs ever. Putting it down to the urgent increase in my pred for GCA (though that was a couple of weeks ago). Really cant

Looking for advice
I am brand new to this so please be patient I have RLS for about 2 years and it seems to be getting worse every week. It’s so bad now that I’m lucky if I get 1 hour of sleep a day and mentally it’s getting tough as well as physically! I like my doctor, but she doesn’t seem to know how to treat this.

Thyroid ultrasound
I've just received my thyroid ultrasound results back and it's showing homogeneous gland with normal echo. My Dr said that this is normal tissue and not Hashimoto as the tissue would be hetrogenous. My thyroid also measured smaller than average left lobe to 3.5cm, right lobe 3.8cm normal being between

Do I self treat now?
Hello - long post ahead. I posted here last year, prior to seeing a neurologist as I was (and still am having) neuro symptoms: occasional tremor in hands, constant pins and needles in hands and feet, numbness (hands mostly). I have Hashimotos Thyroiditis and psoriasis. I was diagnosed as B12 deficient

Advice on medichecks results.
Hi all, my latest results have arrived. I've been on 75mcg for over 1 year now as my GP wouldn't increase the dosage, even when I complained of a lot of symptoms. My last results in June 2019 were: TSH 1.58mu/L 0.35-5 (GP doesn't do anything else) Latest from Medichecks (early morning, fasting and took

Pregnant at 40 with Clomid
Hello, I had one cycle Clomid as I got quite strong PCOS.I took it through reproductive centre and before Christmas when I went for my 1st scan they said I got some follicles but too small and that was just a waste of time to check again in 2 days time as I was going away for a week. The nurse said

Issues after endo scratch
Advice needed. Had an endo scrath on Tuesday (4th once) and for the first time I am experiencing more than spotting. In addition apologies for TMI but I have noted an odour. I have some concerns 1. Is it likely to be an infection ? 2. I am due to start progynova on day 1 of my cycle and worried if this

Donor egg cycle confusion
DONOR EGG IVF. I am currently on my first fresh donor egg ivf in Spain. I am Day 14 on Progynova and I measured over 7mm on Day 12. When would I be ready for transfer? We haven’t been told when my husband will need to fly over to give his sperm sample? 😬 Any help from donor ladies appreciated. Thank
