Late period/No bleed after buserelin? Has this happened to any one else?

I'm currently on buserelin as down regging for FET. Have been on buserelin for 14 days but no bleed as yet. Was due to have blood test tomorrow but now have been booked in for a scan. I feel really stressed about it as I don't know what the implications are for the rest of the treatment. Definitely not pregnant as clinic insisted I ruled that out in preparation for tomorrow. Has this happened to anyone else before and if so, how did it effect your treatment??

Yes this happened to me! First time I was on buserelin I was only on it about 8 days before I had a bleed. Happy days.

Second time I think it was 16 or 18 days something like that. I called them on day 14 or something panicking and they said to call the following week if I still hadn’t bled but then I did so it all went ahead ok. So don’t panic just yet you may still get your bleed! X

Thanks. Glad it's not just me! I always think the worst when things don't go to plan. I was so positive going into this cycle and now feel like I am the anxious mess I was during my first cycle last year!!Hopefully it will arrive in next few days. 🤞

Downregulation On both Norethisterone and Buserelin...

I had my last Norethisterone on the 16th I’ve been told to expect my period 3 to 7 days after, today is exactly 7 days after and no sign of period....I’m worried Buserelin injections has postponed my period...

How many days after you got your period?

I ended up having a scan on my 15th day of Buserelin... Due to no period. Everything looked ok during the scan and just got told to wait and call if it doesn't come in the next 7 days. Sure enough, period came 2 days later. All in all, it delayed me by about a week but hasn't effected my treatment otherwise and am booked for transfer on Tuesday. Hope it comes soon for you x
