Ringing ears and plugged feeling
After chemotherapy and 3 Pluvicto injections I am experiencing ear problems. They are clean but they feel like they are water filled. Could be age and hearing loss time but feel something else is going on. Any of you out there having similar problems?

monitoring
ls it okay to have chest X-ray instead of thoracic scan when in the monitoring stage. I am only 1yr post op with N2 M0, l refused ?? or should l say was sort of advised chemo would not really give much more than 5% to the 5yr survival. I have had scans for a year, now they are just doing X-rays, they

Has anyone been on Niraparib twice?
I have just finished my third line of chemo and CT was very good. CA125 is 8. My consultant has said I can go back on Niraparib as maintenance if I want to. I was on Niraparib for fifteen months between first and second recurrence. I’d like to know if anyone else has been given the same PARP twice ?

Questions about genetic testing
I’ve got mixed ductal PC. I’m post RALP, post-rad, 6 months into ADT. Setting research about the increased likelihood of metastasis with ductal, and the unreliability of PSA in indicating ductal, I’m anxious to touch all bases before it goes to lungs bones brain or liver. I’m already scheduled for

Hello eyebrows, my old friend
I don’t quite know how to put this, or where this post will end up. I have had super thin/missing eyebrows since iv chemo in 2016. Was on Arimidex follow up for 5 years and noticed that they never returned. Fast forward to my current ibrance/faslodex and xgeva protocol and more of the same. Unit

B12 & Folate Deficiency and tolerability of antibiotics (why I react badly to them)
I wanted to just share this in case anyone else has similar issues with reacting badly to some antibiotics (particularly Trimethoprim or Bactrim) after developing a B12 deficiency. I think I might've figured out why I am responding so badly to antibiotics I've tried over the past few months, that I

I’m scared of treatment
Venetoclax and Obinutuzumab My Haematologist has suggested that I may need to start treatment with these drugs and Calquence. I’ve been on Watch & Wait since diagnosed in 2014 when WBC count was just above normal range. Now it’s about six times higher than normal range and my red cell count has gone

Constipation after chemo
Can anyone please advise how they dealt with the constipation. My first chemo last week and I can honestly say I have never experienced anything like it! I ended up in hospital with faecal impaction. Ended up having an enema! Nurse called it a poobabie! Any advice would be very much appreciated xxx

Any suggestions for headache?
After initial diagnosis in 2015, I've had EBRT; brachytherapy; chemo in 2019; ADT since 2019 chemo; two bone Mets on spine since 2019, but no detectable PSA. Have been on Orgovyx since December, 2020. Still have everyday, lowgrade --- not migraine --- headaches, for which I take Excedrin. In talking

Xeloda causing hand redness and extreme tenderness ... playing phone tag with onc's nurse
I am frustrated and feeling more vulnerable and overwhelmed than I've felt during most of my 19 year journey with MBC. On day 5 of 7 days off Xeloda, second round of two weeks on, one week off. I phoned the cancer center either two or three times yesterday and twice so far today. On top of that, I

Radium 223 before Cabazitaxel?
This was prescribed today to manage bone pain and also because my PSA has not particularly responded to Docetaxel and the bone scan shows further cancer growth. There is some doubt as to whether more chemo will do any good. Has anyone had experience of doing things this way round? I assume I could

Is it possible for a stage of cancer to lower
Hi all, this may be a silly question but is it possible for the stage of cancer to change to a lower stage if treatment has been really successful? my husband is stage 4, Gleason 9 and has had hormones, chemo and radiotherapy. His oncologist is really happy with how he has responded and all sites
