ILC: Double Mastectomy-all breast tissue removed - Pathology showed positive margins.
My wife was diagnosed with Invasive Lobular Carcinoma in April. HR/PR positive (95%) Ki67-12%, HER2 1+ Negative. Oncotype test indicated or confirmed IV chemo would not be effect based of her ILC composition. Due to the size of the tumors she was put on Ibrance and Letrozole to help shrink the tumors

Update on PSA with Xtandi--it has gone down!
Update on my PSA, July it was .01 19 Oct 2022 -----PSA is less than .01 I am very thankful. I do not have any bone pain. I still have some side effects from chemo, like neuropathy on my right foot. Still have some lymphoedema to deal with, and I have some inflammation. (I think from Xtandi. ) Xtandi

How fast does jevanta work
Completed 4 rounds of chemo with jevanta, 5th one next week, psa was 48 but dropped to 26 but today back to 29, does your psa fluctuate and should it not drop faster ? Maybe I am worrying over the slight increase, how have others done on this ? Am I expecting too much to soon, I am tolerating the treatments

Sertraline
I think I know what everyone is going to say but does anyone have anything positive to say about sertraline and restless legs? If anybody followed my previous post I have stage 4 breast cancer and need a mild antidepressant to help me cope. Having chatted with my GP we both feel I would benefit more

Jevtana and Pluvicto
Happy Veteran’s Day to my fellow vets and Best Wishes to all of the Prostate cancer warriors - With stage four prostate cancer to the spine, ribs and other bone sites, I’ve avoided chemo so far. On Orgovyx and Xtandi recently stopped working with PSA rise. I think Pluvicto would be best for me, but

I am 76 and hormone resistant. What are my options if I get myself off . I ‘ve had Chemo about 3-4 years ago with good

low platelets and haemoglobin - treatment off
howdy! Quick question. I’m on gemcitabine - I/v chemo. My latest bloods show haemoglobin and platelets too low to treat. Again. So I’m back in the wings, until they rise. So frustrating. has anyone else experienced this.? How did you get them back up? And how long did it take?

Delayed neuropathy after chemotherapy?
My last chemo (Taxel / Carbo) was 6 weeks ago. Two days ago I felt neuropathy in my left leg. Now it involves both legs (below knees): shooting pain, numbness and pins and needles sensation. Also the ankles have become painful as well. I never experienced such severe and wide spread neuropathy during

I am thankful if anyone can help me. My father PSA is 157 after 8 sessions of Docetaxel with 150 mg dose and 2 months Abiraterone after chemo. His health is not in a good way, anemia, loss of appetite, nausea and neuropathy. In the last blood test: Ferritin >2000 ng/ml CEA 12.79

Fasting and icing during chemo
This is from ‘ The Times’ in the UK and probably behind a paywall but Each month I see PCa patients in the UK getting chemo and no sign of the ice slippers/ gloves that I had in Finland and I know for certain no one gets fasting advice here.
