Hi ….from a newly dx’d comrade from the UK
I’m 56 and I’ve recently been dx’d with lobular ER+ breast cancer (2cm), go back to see consultant on Monday for MRI results. I have a lumpectomy & sentinel lymph node removal scheduled for the 28th March. Drs Initial plan was for removal, tamoxifen & chemo….but that may have changed since MRI

PSA slooooowly rising.
Hi. To cut it short, I have Stage IV Pca.At diagnosis (Nov.2020) my PSA was 66. Had a few sessions of chemo and Firmagon. That was insufficient after a 4-5 months so Xtandi (2 tablets - half dose) was added. My PSA went down to <0.10 for a couple of months. Then rose to 0.12 - the 0.14 and it's now

Having pectus carinatum and PC would radiotherapy or chemotherapy affect the strength of the rib cage structure?
I have PC but also epilepsy which I have had for over fifty years, over 400 + seizures thus weakened my rib cage structure [affected by pectus carinatum/pigeon chest] over the years thus likely to refracture. I have had radiotherapy but would that or chemotherapy affect the bone strength of my rib cage

Xtandi (enzalutamide) alone is superior to ADT alone at preventing metastases in "high-risk" recurrent men
"High-Risk"recurrence was defined as men who have had primary therapy (prostatectomy or radiation) but have had rising PSA but no detectable (on bone scan/CT) metastases yet and T≥150 ng/dl, and: • PSA doubling time ≤ 9 months, or • PSA≥ 1 ng/ml post-prostatectomy, or • PSA≥ nadir+2 ng/ml post-primary

Off Abiraterone ?
When I started chemo Abiraterone was discontinued. A recent post suggested that lowering T is even more important if castrate resistant. So why was Abiraterone discontinued? I have an infusion and appointment with substitute MO tomorrow and will try to remember to ask this but would like the opinion

Chemotherapy with Etoposide and Cisplatin
Has anyone on here had Chemo with these 2 drugs? Just wondering how you’re getting on in feeling normal? I’m 5 years post chemo and my entire body hurts from head to foot. Doctor is looking at possible Lupus but ANA test is negative. I have joint pain, muscle pain, basically pain anywhere and everywhere

Injections after Caelyx
Hi All. Well I’ve just had my first infusion of Caelyx. I’ve been told I done need to inject Filgrastim. I asked the chemo nurse to check and she said no injections. Has anyone else had Caelyx with no filgrastim afterwards? Thank you. Gill X

Mr. Spouse 21 is on rewind: Stable again!
The prompt says: "Tell Your Story." Well, it's my husband's story almost identical to 5 months ago, 3 months before that, and multiple months before that, so I'm repeating the posting from 5 months ago below. He's stable again with nearly identical numbers. ALP 38, PSA 0.10. He was a Gleason 9 now in

Seeking advice from Lynparza, Rubraca or Zejula patients.
Hello all, I'm here in search of some guidance as this is my 1-year mark since I began maintenance treatment with Lynparza. About 2 years ago I was diagnosed with ovarian high grade mullerian carcinoma - stage 3b. After a left oophorectomy, I began a regimen of 6 rounds of the combo Taxol/Carboplatin

Post Xofigo, where do we go from here?
I've finished all 6 rounds of Xofigo in December. My ALP dropped to the lowest in 2 years, bone scans have shown stable but active disease, MRI the same. However my PSA has bounced around from the mid 40"s to 70 and the last 2 jumping to 124 and 144 respectively.I've been told that the PSA jump following

Ringing ears and plugged feeling
After chemotherapy and 3 Pluvicto injections I am experiencing ear problems. They are clean but they feel like they are water filled. Could be age and hearing loss time but feel something else is going on. Any of you out there having similar problems?

monitoring
ls it okay to have chest X-ray instead of thoracic scan when in the monitoring stage. I am only 1yr post op with N2 M0, l refused ?? or should l say was sort of advised chemo would not really give much more than 5% to the 5yr survival. I have had scans for a year, now they are just doing X-rays, they

Has anyone been on Niraparib twice?
I have just finished my third line of chemo and CT was very good. CA125 is 8. My consultant has said I can go back on Niraparib as maintenance if I want to. I was on Niraparib for fifteen months between first and second recurrence. I’d like to know if anyone else has been given the same PARP twice ?
