Chemotherapy Maintenance

So I've been told you stay on maintenance chemotherapy until "C" rears its ugly head again so 🤞. I have noticed the weight gain face also red but no other side effects as yet.

Pet Scan results are in.

When the infection clears they may consider chemotherapy maintenance so we await my new path. But good news for the moment. I feel guilty writing about good news here because there isn't always enough if it on here.

Switching from Faslodex to Xeloda

Hi All, I hope your journeys will be easy this week. I had my every-six-months CT scan a couple of weeks ago. The results were pretty good, but there seems to be some development in and about my liver. At my appointment this morning, the oncologist reported that he is switching me off the hormonal

Mucinous oc stage 1c1

Hi everyone, I’m hoping I may find someone on here in/been in a similar situation as me as I am unsure what to do because the type of cancer I have is rare and there is not a lot of research to show it helps having chemotherapy. I have Mucinous and the doctors have offered chemo but said they can’t say

Diagnosis of Colon Cancer

I have just been diagnosed with colon cancer and am due for chemotherapy very soon. Having struggled with keeping my thyroid levels correct for many years, I wondered if anyone had any advice for me on what to eat, how to manage while undergoing chemotherapy, If this should be posted on another forum

New Trial: A Study of CF33-hNIS (VAXINIA), an Oncolytic Virus, as Monotherapy or in Combination With Pembrolizumab in Adults With MAST

As most here know, Immunotherapies have not so far proven to be especially effective in PCa. Here is info on a new viral agent that, while not targeting PCa specifically, is starting clinical trials focused on "Metastatic or Advanced Solid Tumours (MAST)". With 100 participants, it will hopefully

What is the post treatment survival stats (recurrence free or otherwise) for 1) surgery first and chemo later vs 2) chemo first followed by surgery followed by more chemo ("sandwich therapy"). Thank you.

Should i include docetaxel with lupron +darolutamide.

My PSA =15 naïve ADT. Had RP, and RT. 5 lymph node locations 3 in pelvic 1 in chest 1 in clavicle. Ive read the trial results but they don’t include ADT+darolutamide with docetaxel. Im 64 and healthy with no symptoms. I was thinking in lieu of chemo, I could include a 5aReductase inhibitor RAD-140
