Recurrence with shockingly high CA-125
I am beyond despondent. I am in Canada and I feel so down right now. I need a lot of support because I need someone who can encourage me or who has examples of success. I have a few other posts but I didn't update them yet. Don't have much energy to do so. I am having a recurrence. It has returned

Chemo with Docetaxel - side effects
I started triple therapy over a month ago with Eligard and Nubeqa, Zometa for bones, and Docetaxel chemo (with daily prednisone). Gleason 10, RP with 12 lymph nodes all negative, but then quickly went metastatic to multiple bones - too many for radiation to be effective. PSA peaked 3 months after

Starting pluvicto in another month
This is somewhat scary but read the side effects and what had the members of those who are receiving the treatment. What is the most common side effects have you all had and how well tolerated. I am glad I can do the treatments close to home and will not to go to MSK. Any information would be helpful

has anyone had experience with ridiculously high platelets? My mum had blood clots diagnosed last month when her platelets were 400. She’s now feeling great and been for second round of carbo caelyx but pre chemo bloods are showing they’re 935!

Update on failing Enzalutamide
Hello again friends, I wrote recently after learning that Xtandi was no longer working, seeking options. Since then I have had a consultation with my Oncologist and we went through the (limited) range of options for someone who is living in the UK and being treated on the National Health Service. Brief

Another nodule immediately after chemotherapy.
Hello everyone, I had an upper left lobectomy in November 2022. In January 2023 I had a CT scan pre chemo which showed a nodule on the right lung of 6mm. The oncologist put me on antibiotics for two weeks and the next came back clear so I started 4 cycles of Cistoplatin and Permetrexed. Another scan

Hi allI am 1 year out of treatment for stage 3C1 cervical cancer. I had radiotherapy, chemotherapy and brachytherapy. I have since had a colonoscopy, bowel biopsies, a SeHCAT scan and EPI test because of terrible bowel issues. I have seen a letter to my GP saying my SeHCAT and EPI test were clear but

After Zofigo, what next?
Posting an update. My husband just finished 6 sessions of Zofigo (Ra223), which his doctor (MO) recommended after he failed Lupron in 12/21, and then Xtandi in 11/22. He weathered it great, with only mild digestive issues and he continues to be asymptomatic. He meets with his oncologist in two weeks
