Bone loss
I am taking 2000 iu Vitamin d at lunch along With k2 Mk7 drops. I also take calcium and magnesium at dinner. My hip bone mass needs improvement. Will this vitamins intake help with increased bone mass? My doctor in USA suggests taking Fosamex or other meds.

Ferritin recommendation needed
Just had the results of my latest blood tests via the GP's phone call. I am in Spain and my previous sympathetic Dr has unfortunately left. This Dr was very abrupt .... TSH too low, drop to 50mg per day of Levothyroxine (previously 5 days 75mg/2 days 50mg spread over the week). Tried to explain I am

Anxiety and body tension
Has anyone experienced increased body tension from anxiety. I have had panic attacks and anxiety for many years. A few weeks ago my entire body tensed up and it felt very uneasy. It's nerve and muscle tension all over. It continues to happen periodically and I try to calm down but it does make me more

Things I do to combat migraine.
Hi there, After reading on my news feed recently about a lady who suffers from migraine for up to six weeks at a time, I felt moved to write to the Migraine Trust, in the hope that sharing my own remedies and the preventative actions I have taken to avoid migraine myself, might help her and possibly

Magnesium supplements. One type or a mixture of types?
I have been taking Magnesium Glycinate for quite a while. I do suffer with bouts of rushing to the toilet sometimes after the mid-day meal, but I have had my gall bladder removed so have always put it down to that. I have just seen an advert that recommends taking a mixture of Magnesium to help stop

Endo or GP for advice?
I have recently seen a different endo and had hoped that she would check Ferritin, Folate, B12 and Vit D. She has not. I was previously pestering my GP to get these in readiness for me seeing the endo and starting combi therapy. Now I will not speak with the endo for another 3 months, unless I contact

Constipation and magnesium supplements
Has anyone got constipation and hard stools problems in hypothyroid / Hashimoto? Stools are very hard despite a good diet and fiber consumption. I only take vitamin D3 and Calcium 400 mg, should magnesium be added to my diet, if so, which one and how much? My hip density bone scan is 666, not so good

My Journey
I started writing this as a response to @cooper27's question about dietary advice, but it turned into nearly an essay. So I decided to make it a proper essay. _____ I have been on quite an adventure finding trusted dietary advice. I used to listen to the recognised experts until very recently

Is Ativan addictive?
The past few days my anxiety has been off the charts. A few years ago, I worked with a doctor who told me Ativan can be addictive, and limited the amount she would prescribe me. I’m now with a different doctor who hasn’t put me on a limit with Ativan, just “as needed.” He seems to think increasing my

Everything is playing up in turns!
I was interested to learn about Epsom salts, thank you. Any tips for hips? Peripheral nerve damage in the legs & a degenerative spine are standard, and being taken care of as well as poss. But a really dodgy knee (recorded) and now these hips jumping in, have resulted in me flaked out in the chair

Help with muscle twitching and B12 levels
Hi I’m looking for help ... have had muscle twitching pins and needles off and on for over two years. I went to see a neurologist who told me to go home and do breathing executives. I started getting treated with B12 even though my levels have never been low but they really help that and boosting my

Freshly picked Blackberries.
Hi everyone, Yesterday I picked these blackberries from brambles growing wild in my hedgerow so I didn't have far to walk. Blackberries are synonymous with Autumn in the UK and will be in fruit for a little while yet. Wild blackberries from brambles have much more flavour than shop bought ones in my
