Blood test results and feeling "off"
I did my quarterly thyroid test last week, having brought it forward a bit due to feeling "off" - feeling very tired and lethargic, no libido, muscle weakness...this is despite stable thyroid levels that most would say look very good. Also had a lot of back and neck pain, which has been treated by an

Getting more depressed each day.
So since I was diagnosed in May 2020 I have rarely been on the same strength of levothyroxine, let alone the same brand. At present I am on 75mcg of levo. (25 wockhartd and 50 accord). Help for my 83 year old mum please....
My mum was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism 6 months ago on a T4 test TSH - 4.22 (sorry no range) T4 10.7 (12-22) She is currently on 25mcg levo per day. Her Hypothyroidism is not managed at all. Whilst she responded well initially, her symptoms are now getting progressively worse, fatigue, weak and

Oh dear 😤
I’ve spent an annoying few weeks feeling dizzy, falling over, being sick and slurring my speech, feeling confused. No fuel in tank at all. BP spiking inexplicably. Still trying to get this sorted out at Primary Care Level as waiting list in secondary care in NW England is longer than my life expectancy

Codeine/magnesium/food
Am I right that codeine interacts with magnesium (I take magnesium threonate and magnesium bysglicinate)? And what about taking codeine with food or not? Thanks.

So many questions ??
I am 71 years old, weigh 8 stone, generally fit and healthy. I have probably had RLS for many years causing the occasional sleepless night or restless evening in the chair. I had my first prolonged nighttime episode last November which lasted a few nights. Nothing since except tingling in my left leg

A condition passed through my mother's side of the family, my mother had it in her hands, she was an excellent sculptor, painter, etc, it affected her hands, very sore, I was living at home with my parents, the last of five children, unfortunately I have epilepsy [disabled all my life] I was on Topamax

The Next Step
Here I am again! I’m feeling pretty desperate this morning, so tired after yet another bad night. My symptoms are worsening in that they are now apparent in the evening as well as night. I’m now twitching and jumping in the night as well as restless legs. The symptoms don’t settle early morning as

Magnesium tablets
I have a constant ticking in my right ear, Dr Google says it most likely is a middle ear issue, possibly that the membrane is blocked.Advice includes Super Magnesium tablets. I am sceptical as I can't see how this would help. Does anyone use these tablets and has it helped? As always, posting on here

Buprenorphine
I am currently taking 300 mg Pregabalin around 7pm and 2x 30 g of codeine (sometimes 3x 30g) during the night. I am also taking ferrous sulphate at 10pm each night. This isn’t working. I take the first codeine half an hour before bedtime and maybe sleep for 1 to 2hours. I then have to walk around/have
