Fasting morning of blood test
Firstly, thank you all so much for being here! Reading this forum has given me the encouragement to go back to my doctor rather than give up at the first hurdle. I have a blood test booked at the surgery for 9.20 on Monday. I'm quite happy to delay my Levo till after, but missing breakfast is likely

Beaten :(
I just attempted W9R1 but didn't complete it. I had a niggle in one hip and pulling in the opposite calf, so I walked after 25 mins. Not sure if that was the sensible option to avoid injury, or telling myself that as a justification for stopping... Just want to keep myself accountable to you lovely folk

Magnesium v Bisoprolol and Apaxiban 5mg twice a day.
Hello all. I’m on Bisoprolol and Apaxiban. Anyone taking these drugs that has been supplementing with magnesium at home too? I’m interested in finding out if it’s safe but the GP isn’t on the same wave band about it. Looking for some advice from folk out there please. Thanks. Ellie-Ann.

Hypermagnesemia and arrhythmias.
This Monday morning I had a telephonic consultation with my haematologist about my complete blood test and all was fine. Then in the evening I had a piece of dark chocolate and my magnesium tablet. An hour later my heart made a jump and then sharp palpitations started. HB was 32 while my normal is twice

Ectopic beats again
Hi I know there’s a lot of messages on here regarding ectopic beats but finding them very unnerving still. I’m 37 year old female - healthy - and started noticing mine a couple of years ago and after countless trips to A&E and then various ECG tapes and a heart scan I was told they were harmless ectopics

Advice on Calcium Supplements Please
Two years ago I fell and fractured my wrist. A follow up dexa scan revealed osteoporosis. I was automatically prescribed Alendronic Acid which I fortunately refused as my astute GP noticed a high level of calcium on my bloods (it would have actually been damaging to my bones) and referred me to en endocrinologist
