Head tightness/ache/dizziness/feeling my pulse in ear body even when not in AF!
I love reading this forum thank you everyone who contributes it’s so helpful! I suffer with dizziness & head pain - can come on bending over or sometimes walking (if I’m having an on off AF day or flutters), or sometimes just sitting or lying down! Don’t have it all the time. No indication when coming

5 Books That Have Helped Me
Here are 5 books that have helped me navigate my way through afib as a “lifestyler”, as I manage and reduce (and hopefully someday eliminate) my afib through lifestyle changes. There are of course many other books and resources out there for us. I hope other people here will add their own favorites.

Alendronic Acid
I have a telephone appointment with my GP on Monday and want to tell her I’d prefer to stop taking Alendronic Acid. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis, probably brought on by prednisolone which I’ve been taking since March 2020. Started at 15mg, tapering in 1/2mg, now at 8mg. My Dexa scan in January

Beware“inactive” or filler ingredients
Are you taking anything with magnesium? I can I tolerate no magnesium other than the magnesium glycinnate form. They all send my intestines into overdrive. Even supplements and vitamins can have irritating ingredients. Another problem can be lactose intolerance or sugar alcohols- such as sucralose, maltatose

Magnesium stearate
Is it best to avoid magnesium stearate if you have Hashimotos? I need to buy more vitamins once my blood test comes back and will avoid MS if necessary. I do however have plenty of vitamins in my cabinet that contain it and I’m tempted to take them.

PVC’s
Hi everyone. It’s been 8 months tomorrow that I had my SVT Ablation. I am back to working out regularly, and I also got a new job while being a full time student. I am still taking my metoprolol twice a day, even though I really should start weaning myself off of it. I am scared to do that though because

Need help raising Iron
Hi all. I've taken a few tests in the past weeks and am at a loss over how slowly iron has been going up. First took an NHS test, which was taken at 11am on 18 Feb. I heard 10.15am on the phone, but turns out it was planned for 10.50am, yikes. Once I got seated the blood was drawn at 11am. No

Free ebook of 300 pages:"Parkinson's here and now. 27 years searching for a cure for Parkinson's disease (1994-2021)."
This coming Monday (if everything goes as planned) I will publish on my blog "Parkinson's here and now" the link to a free book of about 250-300 pages and in printable pdf format, which collects the most interesting of the book I published in 2015 (now translated into English) as a tribute to my father

Does anyone know of a vegetarian liothyronine ?
I get an NHS prescription for liothyronine. I've been getting Thybon Henning for the last couple of years. Tesco pharmacy have told me that it is unlikely that they will be able to get me anymore due to Brexit changes. I'd be grateful if you could tell me of any liothyronine that is currently available

I need advise... would appreciate feedback.
Hi everyone, Hope all are doing the best you can in the current climate. I had some questions on vitamin D and would appreciate some advise. Over 6 months back, my vit. D levels were 40nmol/L and I was put on high dose of 40,000IU/week by my Dr. for 7 weeks. After 7 weeks, I carried on with 2000-3000IU

Weird Results
Ever since I stopped taking an HTP-5 supplement I felt much better. And every time I take magnesium I feel a lot better as well. Also I know you’re supposed to slow your Caffeine intake with anxiety but I feel like I need it at times to get my day going.
