I just attempted W9R1 but didn't complete it. I had a niggle in one hip and pulling in the opposite calf, so I walked after 25 mins. Not sure if that was the sensible option to avoid injury, or telling myself that as a justification for stopping...

Just want to keep myself accountable to you lovely folk, so I have set my reminder for Thursday.

Have just done my stretches and a soak in Epsom salts, so hoping all will be well.

Having just got back to running 10k after a hip niggle then I would say you have done the right thing !Your graduation will wait for you .

But what you don't want at this (or any) stage is to put yourself on the injury couch for several weeks .

You know your own body !

See how it is in a couple of days 👍

That was the sensible thing to do........., you were not beaten.

Far, far better to err on the side of caution rather than exacerbate existing issues.

It sounds like two different problems, so rest up and carry on with gentle stretching.

You will be back.

Well done for stopping. there's always another day to do the run. x

Not beaten......at all!You made an educated decision to stop doing something that didn’t feel good or right- absolutely nothing wrong with that!

Please remember how much progress you’ve made and just how far you’ve come! You are in week9!!

Your graduation run will come.... and you will be ready for it!
