Surgical menopause and Rheumatoid Arthritis
Following having my ovaries removed I'm in surgical menopause since the end of May. I'm wondering if this could have contributed to the bad flare that I'm having at the moment. Anyone else experienced similar?

Following an inconclusive biopsy my specialist decided to go ahead with a debulking operation and
removal
of the
lymph
node
which was affected by the other tumour, which was performed at the end of June 2015. Once recovered from operation I was put onto chemo as a mop up to be safe.

6 months after oophorectomy still feeling odd
Hello, wondering if anyone else has had similar experience. At 51 years, I had an 8cm endometrioma removed, plus the ovary it was attached to and both fallopian tubes were removed as a precaution against cancer. Since then (now 6 months), it seems like I've gone into menopause and am having lots of hot

Ovary removal stop progression?
Hi I've pretty much convinced myself I have endo all over the place. Including possibly in my veins (vena cava) which terrifies me. I don't want any more children and will do anything to stop it progressing and spreading anywhere else. I haven't had a lap for a few years as I've had 2 children recently

Update - my Foundation One report is in. 😯
I had already had a biopsy with a
removal
of a
lymph
node
by that time so that we could get a comprehensive genomic analysis of where I'm at right now. The past month has been an exercise in patience as I waited for Foundation One results. The results took me by surprise.

Surgery feeling very sudden...
So. I saw the consultant last Tuesday and admitted defeat. Coil and Zoladex both unsuccessful, and oopherectomy ruled out by me. He warned that I had multiple stages of endo in the nodule and even if I declined excision surgery then I'd be monitored very closely with MRIs etc to check growth. I gave

Love waiting
Its 4 am here in the States. I haven't had a single wink since my scare. Now I'm still in the Emergency department waiting for transport to another hospital. The other hospital is where my Electrophyologist is and I bet he won't be happy to see me. I'm his favorite problem patient. None the less he takes

Noone seems to mention dizzyness. I can tolorate the bumping and intermittant breathlessness but this dizzyness and feeling off balance whenever i walk is awful. A real struggle. A feeling of a severe hangover without the alcohol. How do you cope? I'm beginning to wonder if its worth it. After going
