Worsening pain- causes?
I'm looking for some advice....I had a saplingo oophorectomy? in March of this year. As I had my ovaries removed I've been taking Estelle HRT as suggested by my GP. My periods are still super heavy and my endo pain has dramatically increased. My GP said that the only way to cure the pain, is to stop

Egg extraction before ovariectomy?
Hello! I have various cysts and lesions. My biggest cyst is 7cm on my left ovary. The specialist (GYN-OB and surgeon) has recommended a laparoscopy, one where I don't know what I'll be coming out with - he will try to preserve the ovary but he may have to take it out along with the Fallopian tube. I

Hello! So I completely C25K a couple of weeks ago and am doing between 5-6K 3x a week still, but my question is Saturday I am going in for my gallbladder removal surgery - anyone had an op during this time? Any advice on how to build back up when ready? I'm terrified of being back where I started! Thanks

I have begun to drive on my own. I do alright as long as I have someone with me. I get spells of panic when im alone. The panic is nothing like it use to be. It's more of that subtle gut feeling that something isn't quite right even though there is no way anything is wrong and your safe. House work has

Feeling unsure
Hello! So I am new to this site, and forum, so hoping I'm doing this right! I have had painful periods since I started in my early teens, but they have got worse as the years have gone on. When I was at high school, I could still go in and do my lessons, although I'd feel sore and under the weather

Mastectomy, lymph node removal stage 3 advice
I had mastectomy and
lymph
node
removal
done and had swelling in my arm. Went for advice to a lymphodaema clinic and was told how to massage, exercise and was given a arm stocking to reduce the swelling. I found that keeping my weight down to a normal level and exercising helped.

Eating healthy with rice - HOW?!
The image attached is actually a risotto dishes I made using millet, but I seem to have trouble eating a lot of millet as it facts poorly with my recent gallbladder removal and digestive pains for some reason. I'm mostly on a vegan whole food diet so I use a lot of grains and seeds as staples. Rice

Hi, docundy, You're post had a lot of pertinence for me. I also believe many drugs cause or exacerbate rls. The trick is finding out which ones (I suspect more than just one of one;s 'drug arsenal'.) I'm 73,recently diagnosed, and would like to get off my Xanax. I take them for anxiety, have some several

Second diagnosis
Hi everyone. I saw my heptologist on the 9th, my fibroscan was good, no scarring on my liver. He gave me a second diagnosis though of Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis as well as PBC. I have to get blood test in 3weeks and get an MRCP as soon as it's ins approved. I still have this gut feeling that there

Food advice
Hi it is ten days after my cholecystectomy and my first day on Health Unlocked. I am so glad and grateful to have the procedure done and only felt nauseous while coming round from the anaesthetic and mint tea is good for that. I am continuing eating a normal diet as advised and all is working well. I

So I'm having my ovary removed. My surgeon originally said he was going remove the ovary and keep the tube. Now he's saying he's removing the tube aswell. Is the tube worth saving without the ovary? So bloody confused
