Hello, wondering if anyone else has had similar experience. At 51 years, I had an 8cm endometrioma removed, plus the ovary it was attached to and both fallopian tubes were removed as a precaution against cancer. Since then (now 6 months), it seems like I've gone into menopause and am having lots of hot flushes, sleepless nights and general tiredness. That's fine (ish), but what bothers me is that I still feel uncomfortable in my pelvis. I've been told that there won't be any more endometriosis because of my age, but I get a lot of discomfort after eating (not all meals, but some), and at times I get very similar uncomfortable sensations where the ovary was and on the other side. I suspect it's all normal recovery time and the menopause too, but it would be good to know if anyone else has been through similar. Thank you!
