Testosterone Recovery after stopping ADT -1
Here's the first of four plots showing testosterone recovery after stopping
Lupron
ADT. The testosterone recovers quickest in the first 12 months, but then flattens out after that.

Lupron and shrinking penis
I understand that
Lupron
can cause this side effect. I have been taking injections for 1 year. At this point, the shrinkage is so much that it is almost nonexistent? Has anyone else had this problem and does it go away after stopping

Castration by Estrogen Patch
This plot shows a dramatic decrease in testosterone and PSA after starting estrogen patch therapy, indicating that transdermal estrogen (TDE) therapy effectively castrates men, and with fewer side effects than
Lupron
ADT.

How do you know if radiation treatment worked?
I had 25 sessions of radiation to prostate and pelvic area as a precaution and 6 (2 months prior and 4 after radiation)months of
Lupron
. For 9 months post radiation PSA has been not been detectable and it has now risen to 0.04. T is in the normal range. All other blood works were normal.

Any adverse effect if taking three-month Lupron shot two weeks late?
Hi friends, my father has been on
Lupron
shots every three months with Abiraterone pills for about a year now. His next shot will be 14 weeks due to some insurance problems. What is the ideal and acceptable time range between shots that won’t risks benefits of treatment?

Recovery of Testosterone
I am 78 and I have been on
Lupron
for 6 months with a Gleason score of 4+3. I am two months post
Lupron
and have my six month radiation follow up to the prostrate and pelvic area. As part of that my RO requested a PSA and a T blood test.

Estrogen ADT vs Lupron ADT
Here's a chart showing % of men who have a given condition, comparing Estrogen ADT versus
Lupron
ADT. There's big reduction in hot flashes, and improvements in libido, when taking supplemental Estrogen. Estrogen increases gynecomastia (enlarged breasts), however. Bob

Positive medical check update April 2024
My last
Lupron
shot was Oct 2023. Blood values are all very ok, PSA undetectable, Testo less 0.1 ng/ML and PSMA Pet/CT and ultra sound clean, no recurrence, no metastases. I’m more than thankful and will continue with exercises, mediation and diet.

The paradigm has shifted - castrate resistance.
Lupron
was started again. At that time my PSA was up to 13. (It took a while to get the PSMA scan and the subsequent MO and RO appointments) After about 7 weeks on
Lupron
my PSA fell to 2. But at the 4 month checkup my PSA had risen to 4 with my T level at 13 indicating castrate resistance.
