Hello everyone I'm new here, I am one of the fortunate ones, I had a Liver Transplant 6 yrs ago, and I look forward to putting my story on here, when I find the courage to write it.

Hi Dodger1953, Will be interested to read about you and to compare with my own experiences. I had transplant december 2013 and apart from few small niggles have not looked back. Now 73 old and still going strong.

How Do Tourguide, I had my Transplant Jan 1st 2014, so not that many days apart from you. I had mine at the Freeman Hospital, I suppose we are all biased, but the Freeman where brilliant for me, I was 61 when I received my new liver, I'm now 67 and still working, I'm still putting my story together, I'll put it on site soon.

Beating you dodger. I still work albeit 2 days per week. Although don’t think will be working again this year due to coved. I do what my code name suggests and there won’t be any tourists this year??

Hello Dodger, I am a newbie on this site as my partner is a recent TIPS recipient, now with HE and about to see the Transplant team for the first time. We are feeling very nervous and quite scared about it all, so it would be great to hear your story when you are ready. My partner is unable to work at the moment due to HE so it is encouraging to read that you are working after your tp.

Not what you're looking for?
