Blood pressure and single kidney
Hi everyone, I take 5mg Ramipril my blood pressure in GP surgery at my annual check was 160/100 so nurse asked me to keep a log for 2 weeks, have came to the end of that log, worked out the average and that has came to 151/97 What should BP be if you only have one kidney? I read on another site 135/

DOAC - changes
Some time ago, I started Rivaroxaban but stopped due to side effects. Was switched to Apixaban but had more (different) side effects from that. My GP was very helpful and suggested Edoxaban. It appears that the choice of DOAC is as much random rather than individually considered for the patient! At

Out of interest......what were you initially (mis)diagnosed with?
I'm just wondering what people were initially misdiagnosed with? When I was at my most unwell my GP at the time wanted to diagnose me with Fibromyalgia. I was adamant it wasn't that, and would not accept that diagnosis. Another GP at the surgery was talking about going down the MS route. That was until

spacer woes! How to get the optimum dose through them?
firstly I should say that I get a sore throat REALLY easily and in the past using my spacer for a full month has led to some horrible throat infections. So I decided to keep it clean and I was working a system of two spacers, washing one, using the clean one for a week, then washing the reserve one

A Win for the NHS - today at least & Questions for you
Today I had to ring GP for chest infection which has curtailed my activities for the past week and shows no sign of improving. We all know the score with trying to get through however our surgery recently introduced a ring back option instead of hanging on the phone so today I chose that option as even

Bowel Prep/Pre Op
Hope everyone is doing ok. Grateful for the advice I've received so far on here thank you all. I have my first lap in 3 weeks time. Excision, removal of cysts, bowel shave as colon stuck to uterus. Sounds wonderful 🙄 my pre op appointment is only 3 days before surgery is this normal? Should I not be
