Low egrf, high creotine, everything else normal.
This is new to me and still pretty scary. I am 41. Last November my gfr was 51.. Then in January it tested at 61. Last week it tested at 48. Is it normal for it jump around so much.. My creatine is high.. Like 1.4. It has jumped around a little.. All my other blood tests and urine tests came back normal

losartan and beta blocker
Does anyone else take a beta blocker with their BP meds? I'm on 12.5mg losartan (lowest dose) and the doctor prescribed propranolol as and when to help with my palpitations (could be hormone linked). Reading the pill notes it advises caution with this but the doctor said was ok so i'm not sure what to

Update
Good morning So I just wanted to share a little good news. My 16 year old has aortic root dilation and HCM and has been on Losartan 25mg for just over a month now and two different BP readings at home have shown BP at 102/69. I hope I'm right in my understanding this is really good and in the normal

How low can you go ? Blood pressure GP policy and general guidance
Hi I have had high blood pressure for over 20 years. At some point in my late 20s (I am now 51), a GP decided I met the criteria for high blood pressure and prescribed medication. For most of the next 20 years I had an annual or semi annual check at the surgery and a blood test every year. They would

Hello I am 51 years old male, and for many years my blood pressure had been controlled by 100mg of Losartan (ACE Inhibitor) but my GP changed my meds this year adding Amlodipine (calcium channel blocker), firstly 5mg and now 10mg. My blood pressure now averages around 117/75. Before (just on Losartan

Fatigue and BP meds
I have been taking Losartan 25mg for a few months now but suffering from tiredness quite badly. I don't sleep too well anyway but wouldn't normally feel this exhausted. Do all BP meds cause fatigue ?

Bp meds and palpitations
has anyone experienced palpitations with their Bp meds? My doc has suggested they are linked to anxiety/perimenopause but they have started since starting Losartan. I’m on 12.5mg recently reduced from 25mg Thanks!

Ems foot massager
Hiya guys, i saw this and thought 'i could do with that'! But i am not sure if its a good idea. In Oct. 2022 I have been diagnosed with AFib and take Apix, Losartan and Bisoporol. Due to other issues (and the bisop) i am not very active, so i have swollen feet and ankles as well as plantar fascitis.

Has anyone taken 12.5mg Losartan for blood pressure? Currently on 25mg but it’s making me so dizzy and woozy and bp is reading about 115/67. Hoping I can persuade doctor to reduce it

Losartan potassium
I have been told I have CKD3 and that I should take losartan potassium for my blood pressure. I am a bit unhappy taking this as my weight seems to have increased after about 2-3 weeks and I have read that you should not take potassium if you have CKD3,
