Ibs
Hi New to group. Started to get symptoms of ibs about three months ago although I'm 65. I did have ibs about thirty years ago which cleared up after a short time thanks mainly to peppermint oil capsules - can you use brand names? Trying them now as current doctor not very helpful, had blood tests

Hair loss, hair growth...
My hair continues to fall out but my hairdresser says I have new hair coming through. Is the hair which I am losing in the telogen phase and the new hair anagen? Basically, does this mean my hair might be getting sorted at last? My hair has also become rather greasy recently which is a first for me.

Does zinc make periods last longer?
My bacon and egg toastie got stone cold while I typed out a post, and it didn't post and vanished!!! My periods are always regular and fairly moderate. In my early twenties they went from lasting 7 days to 3 days which pleased me no end and have been the same since. I had a shoulder op in September

Hi all, quite new to this really. Husband recently confirmed with IPF so trying to find things out, sometimes reading up is quite haed. Anyway does anyone know what the thinking is about using aerosols, room ones and deodorant ones? Also do you know if there is any harm in burning essential oils? So

Hi, I had an ovarian cyst removed just over a year ago which turned out to be early stage oc. I then had 6 sessions of chemo which finished at the end of last year. Since then I feel like my hormones are all over the place. It's been like having pmt for weeks on end. A lot of the time I feel totally

Aches and pains.
Hi, I've been diagnosed with underactive thyroid and am now taking 75g of Levo. I'm now suffering from horrible joint pains in my fingers on both hands, some shoulder pain, and problems just in my left leg, hip, knee, tendinitis on my Achilles and swelling of my ankle. My right foot only has heel pain

PR, BuTrans, Hydroxychloroquine Anxieties & A General Update :)
Such a lot has happened in the last few weeks! For those that don't know I have finally been diagnosed with Palindromic Rheumatism, (a rare form of Rheumatoid Disease for those that don't know), after fighting to get a second opinion and being fobbed off initially with a wrong diagnosis of Fibromyalgia

Pelvic pain cure
For years I have been having pelic pain low down on either the left or right side of my groin to the point where I would be unable to walk and had to crawl to the bathroom. It would come on at anytime of the month and wasn't asscociated with my periods. After having a laparoscopy and finding out everything

I didn't know all that about CQ10, will have to see if I can afford it... What I can report is an apparent improvement from taking High Dosage Omega 3 fish oil - available from Boots in 1000 or even 1500 strengths. I have taken omega 3 for a long time, but find this new dosage better. My regular

"I swear you're just like a pill, stead of making it better you keep making me ill"
Would some of you kindly share some success stories with me, I am chemically intolerant, Can't use fragrance, can't take hormones, can't drink alcohol, so I rely on things like heating pads, tens machine, cod liver oil tummy pads. I get migraines from shampoo's or deodorants if they are not fragrance
