I suspect I have a pbc. Where to begin? Indy.
Not Diagnosed. Just googling and it really seems this is what I must have. I had esophagus cancer 13 years ago. And I feel this has stressed my liver. Never had a drop of alcohol? Thank goodness.

Progression of liver disease
From fatty liver do you always progress to hepatitis and then possibly cirrhosis? Or can you go straight from fatty liver to cirrhosis? I couldn’t find anything online that answered this question. Thank you

Are liver issues pushing me into becoming diabetic
Hi Today I had a zoom session with the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme, my last bloods score was 48 (on the diabetic metric), I have pre diabetes and I am right on the boundary for the full type 2 scenario. In this zoom session they talked about blood pressure (mine is actually rather low not high

Some clarity please!
Like most people who’ve posted here, I was (and still am) creeped-out by my fibroscan scan results in December 2021 of F4 cirrhosis. I’m told I’m well-compensated and haven’t experienced any symptoms or abnormal blood labs except for very high liver enzymes. My question is: does the natural progression

Covid anyone?
For Christmas I received a positive Covid result. I am fully vaccinated and boosted. I had an inflamed spine from a long car ride. So i was on solumedrol 1000 mg once a month and PT(My DMT Copaxone). This was working for me. On December 20th another intravenous solumedrol. I became fatigued and had

LFT results
I recently had LFT done. All came back in normal range except my albumin was 39 albeit in range that’s the lowest I’ve had. I’ve been worried about the amount I’ve drunk over the years. Always wine approx 30 units a week. I do not have any symptoms. I’ve read you can have cirrhosis withoutsymptoms

Is the support offered by GPs in the British NHS acceptable or are there aspects that need better training and education on liver conditions
Today I saw a GP, it was not my GP, my GP is on long term sickness leave. Yesterday I tried to see a GP but failed as I was allocated a 'nurse practitioner' for the third consecutive time in the last 10 weeks. I insisted on seeing a GP. What I am going to describe are my views and opinions on how the

Does this look like jaundice?
Hello. I was in the ER last month for unrelated concerns that have since been taken care of. My blood looked fine, except an elevated bilirubin at 2.8. other liver enzymes looked good. CT scan showed *possible* fatty liver. I am 19 years old, 5’7 and 125-130 lbs. My diet and exercise could be better

Alcohol withdrawal advice
Hi, I'm on this forum as I have liver issues (Budd Chiari) which aren't caused by alcohol. My partner drinks a ridiculous amount of alcohol - regularly drinks at least15 cans of beer 3 days a week and 4-6 cans other days. He had been told he had fatty liver previously and elevated blood test results

Dizziness?
Hi all, my question is does anyone else suffer from dizziness having Cirrhosis of the liver? I was diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the Liver last year, just recently I have suffered from dizziness and do not know if this is a link to this. Would be great to have feedback on this. Thanks.

Ketamine and psychological therapy can help heavy drinkers abstain for longer, a new clinical trial shows
Although this is a liver site, alcohol abuse has long been the cause of many long-liver journeys for so many people. I have often referred to alcohol abuse as there being two types of drinkers. Firstly, there is the person who drinks because they want to. But secondly, there is the person who now has
