fatty liver
does anyone know the average size of a liver for a woman who’s 50. I’ve been told that mine is 12.5 which indicates fatty liver. 12 months ago my liver was normal. I stopped drinking and now it’s fatty. I’m so confused and having no support. Some advise say no dairy then others say it’s ok

First period since giving birth extremely heavy
Hi guys, I'm unable to get an appt with my GP and I'm a little concerned I'm losing too much blood with my first period since birth. I know its meant to be heavier than usual but I'm having to change my thick pad every hour or less. I can feel it pouring out of me (sorry tmi) is this normal? I didn't

ELF score 8.3
I have had several elastography tests, the last one the same week as I took ELF test. It was 4.8kpa, but ELF test shows moderate fibrosis (8.3). Its seems ELF test is more accurate, because on this forum I have found several people who feel smth is wrong with their liver that have normal elastography

Pain following egg collection
hi lovely ladies I underwent my second egg collection on Thursday. My first egg collection was 4 years ago when I was 31 and the first fresh transfer resulted in my little boy who was born by c section. I feel like I am in a lot more pain this time and wonder if any of you have experienced the same ?

Why don’t the medical team looking after me provide me with information on Cirrhosis?
I feel like I’m be left in the dark! Why do I have to ask all the questions and try and do my own research? I understand everyone and case, symptoms are different from my own research but surely in the times we live in the consultant and or team should give patients a general knowledge on what may or

Gynae consultant says MRI is clear, but I've had endo treated before and I'm still in pain. Not sure what to do.
This is my first time posting here, trying to figure out what to do and would really appreciate any and all advice! I was first diagnosed with endo in 2015 when I ended up in A&E with the most excruciating pain. I had an internal scan in which they found a huge ovarian cyst - size of an orange, and

ultrasound
Hi everyone. I was diagnosed with cirrhosis over 2 years ago due to hep C, which has now been treated. I’m puzzled over the results of my last 2 ultrasounds. The one a year ago said “liver normal” and the next one in December 22 said indicative of fatty liver! No mention of cirrosis. While I would be

some good news
I was diagnosed with liver cancer with 2 tumours, one measuring 3 1/2 cm, in June of last year. The oncologists said I would do well to have two years but with a treatment called TACE I am now cancer free. I do have cirrhosis which they say is the reason that I have the liver cancer, I also have varises

successful PIP claim (higher) and what we did
Hi, thanks so much to everyone here who offered advice on how to claim for PIP. We have heard today my partner has been awarded the higher amount for both living and mobility and this has been approved without a physical assessment OR a phone call. This is what we did in case it helps anyone. FYI

abnormal LFT
I’ve posted several times over the last couple years convinces I have cirrhosis. All my labs and imaging has been normal other than an ultrasound a few years ago stating “mildly heterogenous liver” all scans since have noted normal appearing liver. My lfts have never been out of range until today. My
