I was diagnosed with liver cancer with 2 tumours, one measuring 3 1/2 cm, in June of last year. The oncologists said I would do well to have two years but with a treatment called TACE I am now cancer free. I do have cirrhosis which they say is the reason that I have the liver cancer, I also have varises in my throat but that is controlled with beta blockers , 80 ml a day, I have liver scans every 3 mths CT / MRI the treatment has been excellent , I wanted to tell everyone that it’s so important to a attend your ultrasound scans to check your liver when they request you to, as I did not feel unwell and it would have been missed if I hadn’t gone for the scan, please everyone take care xx
