I had low dose brachytherapy in 2010 with seeds and success. My PSA started raising again in 2021. I opted for high dose brachytherapy and my PSA is 0.1. This year I had difficulty urinating and recently had a procedure similar to a TURP to remove tissue in my urethra near my prostate. This procedure has been successful. However in performing a biopsy of this tissue, my urologist found that the carcinoma has changed from PROSTATIC ADENOCARCINOMA to neuroendocrine. This appears to to be a new cancer and may or may not be related to my prostate, just that it has been detected here. I will need further testing to determine where else in my body this cancer my exist and what possible treatment I may need. Has anyone else experienced a situation like this and how treatable is this cancer. Thanks
