? Osteoporosis
I fell off my e bike the other day, I cycle a lot and it’s the first time that has happened, and I think I have cracked a rib. I spoke to the surgery nurse but I haven’t seen anyone. It’s very painful and I was wondering if I should ask for a bone scan to see if I have developed osteoporosis? I have

Supplements, choline, etc.
Hi everyone, I've been taking a centrum multivitamin, omega 3, and vitamin d supplement for just over a year now but recently got some choline as I have read in a few places it's good for liver problems however a search on here brings up nothing about choline. Does anyone else take it or have been told

Tranexamic acid?
Hello everyone, how are you? 🙂 So I have just been prescribed tranexamic acid for my suspected endometriosis. We are not 100% sure if I have it but I do have a lot of symptoms. I was just wondering if anybody else had been prescribed this and what were your thoughts? Thank you so much, E. x

Fish Oil Supplements
I have been faithfully taking Omega-3 (500mg) three times daily hopefully thinking it will help prevent my arrhythmia from coming back. Today I came across two articles by Verywell that counter this belief: https://www.verywellhealth.com/fish-oil-may-not-reduce-cardiac-events-study-finds-5088456?utm_campaign

Mefanamic acid or cocodomol?
Hi, just finished my period and having endo pains! Could this be due to the time of ovulation? I was recently prescribed mefanamic acid and tranexamic acid. So I took the tranexamic acid whilst on my period which reduced my heavy bleed (thank goodness, as I've been iron anaemic and need transfusions

Tranexamic Acid & Mefanamic Acid
I have been prescribed both for heavy periods and suspected endo! Doctor told me to start both as soon as bleeding starts! She advised the tranexamic is to reduce the bleeding, however my heaviest days are days 1-3. Surely day 1 im still going to be so heavy as the tablets won't have enough time to get

Liquid gel in COVID patients’ lungs makes way for new treatment.
In some patients who died with severe COVID-19 and respiratory failure, a jelly was formed in the lungs. Researchers have now established what the active agent in the jelly is and thanks to that, this new discovery can now be the key to new effective therapies. This according to a new study at Umeå

anyone experienced nausea whilst taking NAC (N-ACETYL CYSYEINE)
I have been becoming increasingly nauseous over the last 3 weeks. I started taking 500mg twice daily of NAC (N-ACETYL CYSYEINE) about 3 weeks ago. This was prescribed by a nutritionist along with a B-complex and Omega 3. I was also taking L-theanine and Serotone 5-HTP - but I stopped this a week ago
