Is anyone here boosting their plasmalogen levels?
I've watched several interviews with biochemist Dayan Goodenowe PhD (https://drgoodenowe.com/) where he discussed increasing plasmalogen levels to prevent Alzheimer's and other dementias. He mentioned that higher plasmalogen levels also help in Parkinson's by improving function in dopaminergic neurons

Marine Collagen for Osteoarthritis
Good morning on a sunny clear frosty day. Does anyone have experience of using marine collagen while on an anticoagulant? I have osteoarthritis but had to stop helpful supplements such as fish oil and glucosamine and chondroitin when I began taking Edoxaban. Certainly the fish oil with high Omega 3 was

IGF-I & Mortality
New study below [1]. The insulin axis is rarely talked about but is very important IMO. Even back in 2004 there were a lot of insulin-like growth factor-I [IGF-I] studies. Currently 556 hits on PubMed for <prostate "IGF-I">. But who reads them? I have learned to beware of anything with "growth factor

Hi everyone, I had my egg collection on Thursday and we’ve got 5 fertilised. All being well, transfer should be Tuesday. I’m just wondering if there’s any tips, diet, supplements, activities I should be doing between now and Tuesday? I’ve read so much but now I’m here, I can’t remember half of it. I

Yes, Vitamin D again - but not specifically PCa.
Someone raised the question - is vitamin D supplementation ever a good idea? TA: "JoAnn Mason (sic), probably the foremost expert on this ..." I thought I'd look at what JoAnn Manson, as a member of the VITAL study team, had to report. [1] "Vitamin D supplementation for five years, with or without omega

TTC again!
Hello! TTC and just had my most recent bloods back since increasing dose by 25mcg 8 weeks ago. I'm now on 150mcg. My results show: fT4: 20. TSH: 0.24. I'm a little worried that my TSH is too low now? My GP has advised me to keep on with the 150mcg dose, but I'm wondering what to do if I do conceive,

Do you have any supplements you think helped JAK2+ patients?
I’m just curious is there any supplements that is not advised or would help a JAK2+ patient, is Omega 3 and normal multivitamins okay? I’m just concern that they are other vitamins that conflicts with our condition. For example, it’s not a vitamins but I heard birth control pills are not advisable for

Hello, I was diagnosed with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) earlier this year. I am taking ursodeoxycholic acid and all seems to be under control for now. I had pancreatitis in February this year and had a follow up scan in October. The scan showed an increase in my pancreatic duct. I had an ultrasound

Parkinson's could be otherwise (2).
Officially, Parkinson's is still incurable in Western medicine. Cases of possible cure or reversal of symptoms occur in very strong or highly motivated people (Robert Rodgers has collected numerous cases since 2004. His mother had Parkinson's). And in Hindu and Chinese medicine, it is considered a difficult

New Medicines Atorvastatin and Propranaolol Bone Worries
I have had a barrage of blood tests done recently due to Osteoporosis, no blood test was left out, except for Magnesium that I am being tested for in the next lot of blood tests in January. My blood tests show high cholesterol so the doctor prescribed Atorvastatin 20mg. He also prescribed Propranaolol

Can you really reverse osteoporosis naturally?
I was diagnosed with osteoporosis at age 50. In hindsight, it should have been caught much earlier. Due to the horrible US healthcare system and several doctors who simply failed to steer me in the right direction, it was missed. I am looking for success stories from people who have actually been able

New diagnosis and menopause coincidence?
Hi! I’ve been noticing a lot of people are getting diagnosed later in life around the time of change- is this a thing? For me, it was going back to grad school and saying “ hey, I can’t do this all-nighter sh*t anymore, it’s way too exhausting and my brain is way slower than it used to be!” It’s taking
