Hello! TTC and just had my most recent bloods back since increasing dose by 25mcg 8 weeks ago. I'm now on 150mcg. My results show:
fT4: 20.
TSH: 0.24.
I'm a little worried that my TSH is too low now? My GP has advised me to keep on with the 150mcg dose, but I'm wondering what to do if I do conceive, as the previous advice from this forum was to increase my dose by a further 25 on a positive pregnancy test. Should I still do this as my TSH is now low? I asked my GP but he didn't know so I'm feeling a bit stuck!
All my other levels are good, vit D, folate, b12, iron etc. I'm on all the preconception supplements and take extra vitamin D and B12 and taking omega 3 too. I have noticed more frequent headaches, had a couple of migraines for the first time in my life, some visual disturbance, muscle twitching and also slight palpitations, possibly since the dose increase, but not sure if there is a connection.
Any advice welcome. Thanks!

From my own experiences when my T4's are higher than I need them to be I get headaches I get tired and wired and have hissing in my ears. I hope you get satisfactory resolution.
I’ve never known my T3, my gp won’t test that. I just really want to know if my levels are safe to try and conceive. I was told my TSH was way too high to conceive last time but I did, then had a miscarriage 2 months later. I haven’t tried again since as have been increasing levo dose to try and get it at a good place but now I’m worried about it being too low. I have no idea about this as I’ve always focussed on trying to get it lower.
hashilol are you able to pay for a private blood test? on thursdays Medichecks offer discounts . You need to know your T3 result and T4 and TSH Slow dragon on here gives good advice about blood tests. It is really difficult to answer your questions without knowing what your T3 result is.
