GP vs. Endocrinologist
Your practice would continue to issue my levothyroxine prescription and Dr. xxx (my Endo) would prescribe
Liothyronine
(T3) accordingly.” This letter was put on my file, but ignored.

Followed advice here, now need help with understanding results
I take 50 mcg Synthroid around 6 am, 5 mcg
Liothyronine
around 7 am, and then wait an hour for a cappuccino, and 4 hours for vitamins. I finally had my doctor agree to trying me on T3, since he wouldn’t increase my T4, about 9 months ago.

Too much T3? One time. Does it make a difference?
Because of a change of dosage of
liothyronine
from 10 mcg 2 x daily plus 10mcg 1 x daily Mon, Wed, and Fri, To 20mcg 1 x daily and 10mcg 1 x daily, I was given a completely different brand.

Antibiotic therapy. Now I have severe insomnia
My current dose of thyroid medication is: 1) Levothyroxine 100mcg daily in the morning 2)
Liothyronine
12.5mcg in the morning and afternoon I'm skipping the afternoon T3 dose for a couple of days to see if that will correct the problem. As I type this message, I'm unable to sleep.

Private Blood Test Results
Levothyroxine only didn’t work for me and after a couple of not so great endo appointments I finally found a really good endocrinologist who agreed to add in
liothyronine
and commenced me on 20mcg of
liothyronine
(split into two doses) in addition to existing 100 mcg Levothyroxine).

Zydus liothyronine
Hello, Does anyone have any experience with this type of
liothyronine
(I've never even heard of it)? Like some on here, I'm pretty sensitive to differences in brands. I get on well with Cynomel and Mylan brands (but I don't know a pharmacy that currently stocks Mylan).

Help with results - what would you do?
Dr decided to reduce Levo and introduce
Liothyronine
. I'll give it a go. Dr had not seen a single T3 result at this point. The blood tests were done a week later, I followed the recommendations from this site.

Going the right way at last - take 2
I am now on 50mcg Levothyroxine and 25mcg
Liothyronine
. I take the T3 when I get out of bed (all in one hit) and the T4 before I get into bed. This is working for me, I feel better than I have done in years.

Hi I’m looking for some advice on the brands of
liothyronine
please, I usually get teva but this time they’ve given me viatris,I think that’s what it’s called, and they contain gelatin so I’ve took them back,I’ve taken them back before and they replaced them with teva only this time they’re saying that

Results of TSH Modification Experiment
I felt so unwell by 2 am Monday that I got up and took a 5 mcg tablet of
Liothyronine
and decided I would go for the blood tests at 9 am. Clearly, another day would have been too much punishment.

bloods and upping T3 level- help needed please
I stopped
liothyronine
about 6 months ago for a variety of reasons, mainly anxiety/ tremor. My current dose of Levo is 125 mcg 4 days and 3 days at 112.5 (taken as alternates). I’m debating introducing just 5mcg of T3 again as a trial. My question is should I reduce T4 dose?

T4 levels in relation to T3 dose
can anyone tell me - is it normal to have a T4 at the low end of the range once you start taking
Liothyronine
T3.? I take 125mcg thyroxine and 10mcg
Liothyronine
3x a day. My T3 comes back mid range and T4 at the bottom of the range whilst TSH is v v suppressed (0.01).
