Hi everyone,

Following up on my previous post in Oct 2023, I added T3 Liothyronine 25 mcg to my current Armour 120 mg dosage.

Here are the results after one month of adding T3 to my Armour: Tested 10 hrs after I took my half dosage of Armour and liothyronine:

TSH (mIU/L) 0.08 Range: 0.40-4.50

T4 (THYROXINE), TOTAL (mcg/dL) 3.9 Range: 4.9-10.5

FREE T4 INDEX (T7) 1.2 Range: 1.4-3.8

T4, FREE (ng/dL) 0.7 Range: 0.8-1.8

T3, FREE (pg/mL) 4.4 Range: 2.3-4.2

T3, TOTAL (ng/dL) 120 Range: 76-181

T3 UPTAKE (%) 32 Range: 22-35

FERRITIN (ng/mL) 51 Range: 38-380

For the past month, I have been taking half of my Armour+T3 dosage in the morning and the other half in the afternoon.

I would say the symptoms slightly improved but still suffering from fatigue. I get very tired around 5 pm every day.

Regarding Ferritin, I took a blood builder megafood iron supplement for two weeks, but my ferritin level is still low, similar to my last year's reading.

What do you think about these results? What should I account for to optimize my thyroid levels?

no vitamin D, folate or B12 results

Perhaps try increasing Armour or adding small dose levothyroxine

Hey there again :

Your T3 is slightly over range - but if you have no hyper symptoms I wouldn't be too concerned-

Your T4 is slightly under range - and wonder if you should consider increasing your NDT -

and maybe splitting the 25mcg T3 into 2 - and take the second with your 2nd dose of Armour.

So although you will be dropping 12.50 mcg T3 you will be slowly increasing your NDT up from 1 grain by 1/4 grain increments weekly, monitor on blood pressure, pulse and body temperature, am and pm, and maybe just increase by a maximum of 1/2 grain am and pm and wait 6-8 weeks letting this new arrangement bed in and hopefully relieve some symptoms.

When core strength vitamins and minerals are not maintained at optimal levels you will feel and be ' under par ' as your body can't maintain normal function without a strong core strength.

Your ferritin needs to be a good 50% through this range - so at last around 180 - and it is not a quick fix as it takes months to build with good quality supplements -

How about your B12 , folate and vitamins D ?

Has the brain fog reduced and inow t's more a case of running out of energy in the afternoon?

remember that too much T3 can make you very tired and lacking in energy. Your t3 shows over medication. I’d reduce T3 very slightly and see if that improves your 5pm tiredness. Try keeping in range if you can.

Thanks everybody for the response. I guess I have a slight symptoms of Hyperthyroidism maybe due to the high intake of T3.

What I'm doing right now is I decreased T3 from 25 to 12.5 mcg/day and I added 1 Armour 120 mg/ 3 days meaning I take 1 tablet of 120 mg of Amour in the morning and 1/3 of 120 mg (40 mg) of Armour and 12.5 mcg T3 in the afternoon. How does this sound? Please advise!
