I’ve had recent blood results and my T3 remains at bottom of the ‘normal’ range.
bloods are:
T4 18 (12-22)
TSH 1.52
T3 3.2 (3.1-6.8)
I had similar results in September.
I stopped liothyronine about 6 months ago for a variety of reasons, mainly anxiety/ tremor. My current dose of Levo is 125 mcg 4 days and 3 days at 112.5 (taken as alternates).
I’m debating introducing just 5mcg of T3 again as a trial. My question is should I reduce T4 dose? My vitamins all in top third of range.
Any help would be lovely

I had toyed with the 125 first so think I’ll try this first and retest again in 6-8 weeks as you’ve suggested. If I’m up in T4 and T3 hasn’t shifted, then I’ll come back with results. It might be best to try this first and then 2.5 twice a day after. Thanks for advice it’s appreciated X
We all have different ‘sweet spots’ where we feel best, so i would add ‘low and slow’ to make sure you don’t miss yours. I’ve had heightened anxiety, including palpitations & tremor, when I’ve added medication too quickly, so I’m now more of a tortoise than a hare when making adjustments. Like SlowDragon suggests. I’d try adding 2.5mcg of Liothyronine x 2 a day and retest after 6-8 weeks (8 is best if you can wait that long!)
thank you for this Buddy195! I think that was my mistake when adding in last time as my Endo whacked me on 15 per day but reduced my Levo and think my body didn’t like it!
