Is it safe to use red light / near infrared therapy if you have Graves' disease?
I know that
light
therapy
energises the cells so it wouldn't be a good idea to shine the light on my thyroid but is it safe to use it on other parts of my body? Does anyone have any insights? I'm also wondering what are the chances of my Graves' going into remission eventually?

I also do red
light
therapy
on my head. I got my device from Australia, called the coronet. Well red makes it. I think it’s worth the money and it’s super easy to do. There’s also a nasal attachment that I use. it’s helped tremendously with my sleep.

red light therapy
I am treating the condition with medication and have recently completed a course in BIG
therapy
. I have also purchased two red
light
therapy
devices. I would be interested in hearing from others who have used red
light
therapy
to treat PD.

NovoThor
Has anyone tried or have any knowledge of NovoThor PBM
Therapy
light
beds? A friend saw a leaflet in a waiting room recently, so I’ve done a bit of research and it looks very interesting and if the stats are true good be very helpful for fibromyalgia sufferers, no mention of cost though!

Light Therapy for PD
I have a question about
light
therapy
. What is the latest research showing? I’m a little overwhelmed by the number of different devices out there, and particularly the different frequencies that are being recommended… 810, 1070, blue light… etc!

Morphea treatment - PUVA or triamcinolone injections?
The
light
therapy
also requires attending the hospital a few times a week I think. This would really impact on my work and home life so I'm keen to know what others experience of this was. Has anyone had either the injection or PUVA
light
therapy
?

. Any help or advice would be really appreciated.

I considered buying a red
light
therapy
machine. It produces
light
that brain mitochondria can react to. Mitochondrial dysfunction is what causes Parkinson's Disease. I feel like I'm fine and don't need to spend the $900. Even though they rebate 80% if not satisfied.

The effect of light exposure on insomnia and nocturnal movement in Parkinson's disease: an open label, retrospective, longitudinal study
Light
therapy
(LT) has been suggested as a strategy for sleep disorders but it has only been implemented recently for use in PD. An open label, retrospective study was undertaken where PD patients had been undergoing LT, using polychromatic light, for four months to 15 years prior.

Has anybody tried Light Therapy?
I live in an area that has at most 20 days of
light
. After using a
light
therapy
lamp that delivers up to 10,000 lux for a week the severe RLS symptoms are now very mild. I have also found that I no longer need to take medication at night. Hopefully the
light
therapy
continues to work for me.

Laser emitting diodes compared to LED light therapy ?

. This peaked my interest.

Mitochondria, sugar, red lights and Doxazosin
Erythropoieten is another possible candidate for mitochondrial boosting There is a lot of research going on - including mitochondrial transplants Not mentioned in this article, but clearly relevant, is the idea that mitochondria are boosted by red
light
therapy
and can migrate around the body.
