Red light therapy

Hi , I’ve read up a lot about red light therapy & have held back but now considering buying one. Just interested to know if any of you have bought one, how you have got on with it, re results, plus if so any recommendations. I know I have seen posts in the past where people have mentioned they use one.. I’m guessing it comes down to the money you want to pay..

kindest regards

I have an infrared light which I can use to focus on particular areas of the body. My dad used to swear by his. I have AS so suffer pains everywhere, but especially the spine, shoulders and pelvis. I do feel a reduction in pain whilst using the light, but that quickly returns after using it. It supposedly penetrates 1.5-2 inches. I don’t use it much, as I have a wireless tens machine that can treat 4 areas at a time, which gives me better results.

thanks for your reply I only just read it, they do say to benefit you need to use it regularly. I’m reading The ultimate guide to red light therapy by Ari Whitten, it’s very interesting.. good to hear your wireless tens machine helps you alot. I have just got The Revitive, Athritis knee but need to use regularly ie once initially the twice a day, so it’s just getting it into my routine.. again thanks for your reply I really appreciate it.

I've purchased one last year and use it every morning (except for when I am travelling) for 10 minutes. I do believe it has helped and I could be feeling much worse. I'm pain free most of the time...
