she is the real deal and really has PwP best interests in mind. Red light did not work for me, but then again, all remedies I have tried do not work in reducing my symptoms (b1, Ps-128, mannitol). Even the meds don’t have a big effect on my symptoms. I feel like crap on them and like really bad crap off them

yes, to no avail, I did the Hinz protocol
we’re doing dr Maldonado’s protocol I bought his books excellent, for my dad who has PD for 18 yrs and B1 seems to be helping but not perfect restless sleep is what really affects him during the day with terrible fatigue and fogginess (takes melatonin but still trying to figure that out)
he also did the DBS surgery about 10 years ago because his tremor was non responsive to meds
That has been a life saver he has zero tremors since getting it I know he wouldn’t be alive now at 81 if he hadn’t gotten it
And I’m told the newer ones have even more capabilities to control more symptoms than his you might want to look into it
Lots of information recently posted on here. My husband has been using his for a few years now. He has the Welred one. I think it contributes to helping with his general wellness with PD.
My husband used the Vielight 810 and it helped his cognition. My sister who has Alheimers is using one and her daughter says it helps,
Hi Alock. I agree with the comments above. In no particular order, I would say: Coronet/WellRed, VieLight and Symbyx. There might be others but I have mainly seen those three. I have been using Coronet and Symbyx.

I have been using red light for a year and a half and I consider it an important part of my protocol and contributor to my well being.
Coronet now has a nose device but Symbyx leds are generally better positioned for PD (to the back). Symbyx is better built and you can walk around with it ( not that I do…).
Hi Michel, do you think the coronet could slightly overheat the brain tissue?
Is it possible in your opinion to keep it for about two consecutive hours?

I never heard about any negative side effects related to red light and the heat generated by the Coronet and Symbyx devices is quite modest, so I don’t think so.
It would technically be possible to keep it for 2 hours but this is not recommended by the manufacturers and both devices have a 24min cycle. I do 2 per day.

Symbyx products are expensive but genuine. They are doing randomized controlled trials to test (and convince neurologists).
I have been using Vielight Neuro 2 Gamma since 2021, it definitely helped to partially recover my sense of smell after several months of use and it seems to help reduce severity of tremor.
I have a cheap tent sauna that uses red light. But it uses far infrared light. While it's near infrared wavelengths that stimulate brain mitochondria.
I only have experience with the Symbyx helmet and can recommend it.

Hi, my husband started with the cheaper less comfortable option of the men's shed bucket hat. He used it for 12 minutes red light, followed by 12 minutes near infra red light every evening while he watched the news. After about two weeks he noticed his sense of smell starting to return, and it just kept getting better as time went on and he continued to use the light hat. After another month or so, we could see improvement in his handwriting. That's when we ordered the duo coronet as we could see that therapy does slowly make a difference (in his case anyway) as long as you keep doing it. The duo coronet is more comfortable and convenient, and my husband kept using it every night while he watched the news. The duo coronet is automatically timed when you turn it on to emit red light for 12 minutes, then switches to near infra red light for another 12 minutes, then it automatically turns off. That makes it very easy to use, not to worry about setting timers. Eventually he started using the helmet while he ate breakfast each day, so then he was doing two sessions a day, I would estimate for the last 18 months. Around that time we also bought a therapad from the same website, and he uses that on his abdomen for a 20 minute session every night when he gets into bed. That is supposed to improve the gut microbiome. So with all that my husband has improved substantially as at this time. He is up every morning, he feels better, he looks better, his sense of smell is as good as mine, he writes and draws well, he sleeps better, he is less tired, less affected by hot or cold weather extremes, and he has a wonderful positive attitude. He still takes his medication at the same rate as previously. But there is a huge leap forward in quality of life anf hope for the future. I have a theory that the red light treatment helps you to feel better, which makes you more likely to be active, and exercise is super important, and the red light and more exercise becomes a positive feedback loop.

my husband’s sense of taste and smell came back after adding the CoroNase to the Wellred coronet.
I was hoping to help my mom, who is dealing with Parkinson, by using near infra red light and she simply is not as opened to it. When she deals with pain in her legs I sometimes use a near infra red light, to shine it on the area and it helps to relieve the pain a bit. Not much other experience to share about the light except that I have personally found Dr. Larry Wilsons health guidance helpful to me and he suggests using near infra red lights instead of the far infra red. He says the far infra red emits EMF. I was also drawn to the Red Light Corronet for my mom although she was simply not as opened to trying this. Called the australian business Symbyx recently and they told me that they published research results and forwarded me the link via email. symbyxbiome.com/blogs/symby...
They also said it works best if used together with their handheld device, which was also trialled and both available directly on their website. The system is a bit of an investment so I'm still a bit torn. Reviews look promising.
Also heard about the other helmets, but not sure if anyone else published any clinical research where their device were tested for PD symptoms. Would be great to know though.
It's NIR or near infrared. It is hard to test to see if they are selling you the correct frequency. NIR is barely visible. Just a slight glow from the leds. Red light is brighter and better for cognition, NIR is better for the health of mitochondria as I understand it. Also 40htz (fast blinking on and off ) is supposed to be more effective. I made a bucket that does both with a module that blinks at 40 htz 50% on and 50%off. I do not have a diagnosed condition other than pure autonomic failure which may or may not progress much. I think my led straps are 680 and 810. It's non invasive, safe, and has science backing it, what can it hurt. I believe it helps me with Daytime tiredness.
