Lidocaine infusions for chronic pain
But have discovered
lidocaine
infusions not available locally on NHS. LI are available privately, which must suggest this is a question of saving money by CCG rather than 'unethical to prescribe?' I am in the Bristol area but am prepared to travel for upto a couple of hours. Thanks

Lidocaine patches nothing to lose
You must keep using them as the pain relief relies on a build up of
lidocaine
in the skin
lidocaine
is an anaesthetic. I usually wear them all night.

Update on my pelvic pain
He prescribed me a 5%
lidocaine
cream to rub near my tailbone 4 times a day. It’s not doing much, but I’m using it. He has me scheduled for trigger injections in early September.

Lidocaine infusion
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and CFS and just had an appointment at the pain clinic and they are booking me in for a
lidocaine
infusion. Have any of you had it and does it work?

Lidocaine patches???
I had a new appointment with the Pain clinic yesterday (5yrs of chronic pain following a spontaneous Sacral fracture) The consultant suggested I was on too many meds and prescribed me
lidocaine
patches? Does anyone have experience of these and do they work?

Controlling Lesion Pain
I use steroids, Percocet, 2% viscous
Lidocaine
on the genital lesions and magic mouthwash orally. That’s 100 ml of the
Lidocaine
& 60-80 ml of antacid (maalox) and Diphenhydramine HCI (Benadryl) ea. Mix and sip just enough to touch the lesions. Hold in mouth four 5 minutes. 1/4 teaspoon?

Pain clinic fail.....😖 (long rant sorry)
By this time I was in hysterics, but he kept talking at me, didn’t ask me any questions about my current meds and then asked me about had I tried
Lidocaine
patches? When I said no, he said "right we’ll give these a try then is that okay?"

Unbearable pain on ejaculation for a year and a half, no idea what's going on
Around this time I also started using a 5%
lidocaine
ointment to deal with the pain on climax. I wanted to be careful, but waiting too long without ejaculating made the pain even worse, so I eased back to masturbating every month or so.

Mouth Ulcers
Bicarbonate of soda, salt water, dentagels, and the gp prescribed
Lidocaine
a local anaesthetic to numb the area so I can sip some soup but it only lasts for 10 minutes and is such agony to apply it’s not worth the bother! If anybody has any tips that work for them please share!

CONSTANT reoccurring UTI'S/IC/Cystitis
I have been also having to use instillagel containing
lidocaine
for the urethral burning that I am always experiencing. It happens when I am not having intercourse but is always worse afterwards. Does anyone have any other tips, things that have helped, something I can try?

The strongest Lidocaine cream on the market
Most pharmacy creams are 5%,
Lidocaine
, however this one is 10%. If you're looking for something strong, here's the stuff! https://www.khemcorp.com/product/ultra-strong-
lidocaine
-anesthetic-cream-10-56-30-grams/ Works out pretty cheaply per gram too!
