Good morning, i had an Lignocaine Infusion a week ago, for my chronic pain, fibro, osteoarthritus, on all sorts of medication including morphine!

Nothing has changed,

Just asking if anyone out there has had any experience of the infusion and there results? 😊

Hi

Sorry you are struggling so much. I'm waiting to have some sort of injection/infusion. I had to fill in a pain questionnaire, one if the things I had to do was draw on a body where I had pain, it was everywhere!! Please take care. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx

Hi, yes i did that aswell, i had stetoid injections in both knees in May and some fluid drained out, gave me about 2 weeks relief , just enough to get me through my holiday, but i had the infusion on the 18/6 and nothing🤷‍♀️

I so hope it goes well for you Lynne😊🙏 would love for you to let me know 😊 much love coming your way Pip xx

Thank you and yes I will.

I was referred to orthopaedics a couple of weeks ago for my sciatica which had gone worse cos I get pain in my right bum cheek if I'vr been sat, stood or walking for about 5 minutes. She referred me cos my symptoms had changed

I've got my MRI tomorrow and see my consultant on the 10th which I think is brilliant. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx

Because Dr's assume alot!

It is a local anesthetic for topical application,, and many do not react well to it via IV.

It seems to work for some,, but that is not any reason to down play any potential risk or unknown risks involved.

It should be fully explained,, and I don't mean being handed a leaflet which seems to be the standard mode of comunication in medcine today.

I was given very positive info on it. But they don't do it on the NHS anymore so I won't know.

They do, do it on the nhs! I had mine done through my pain consultant, last week and there were others there having the same. you can have up to 4 of them done, if it works for you. 😊

Wow it must be my town then! He said they'd had to go private and it was expensive, so when I heard that I just thought " oh well"
