Advice please....
It's been 3 weeks since my diagnosis for Hairy Cell
Leukaemia
and I'm slowly coming to terms with it, however I am confused. My consultant at the hospital has put me on 'Wait and Watch' but said I would be monitored regularly and would need regular blood tests and scans.

Remission
So the PETSCAN and the bone marrow biopsy say no leukemia or lymphoma for me. That means total remission but they still want me to have a transplant waiting for an appointment from MD Anderson in Texas.

Hair transplant and CLL
Has anyone here with CLL had a hair transplant (after early stage diagnosis?) Is that safe or crazy? I'm relatively young to have it and I guess a bit vain but am not sure if the CLL makes no difference or the trauma encourages it.....

1 week update into Imbruvica
My first 7 days of Imbruvica 420 mg haven't been as bad as expected. No fatigue to speak of. The only side effects are temporary stomachs which I can remedy with yogurt or digestive enzymes, and temporary intestinal cramps.

Going down
I lost my Dad suddenly in April 19’ to a complication of
Leukaemia
when we thought he was recovering well and in the last few weeks my uncle died, unexpectedly on a flight home from his holiday. I don’t think that I have even started to grieve properly for Dad yet and now my Uncle going too.

CLL AND BRONCHIECTASIS
I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic
Leukaemia
in 2010 and have been with the CLLSA group here on HU for 6-7 years. Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with Bronchiectasis after a high resolution CT scan. I hope to find some info on trials and alternative treatments.

Life with ET
I am the person flying through the air. At 39 I discovered I had ET (CALR). I also started Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Almost 4 years later I still have ET and I take 2 pills of Hydroxyurea 5 days per week. Today I received my purple belt. The test was two hours of nonstop movement and grappling. My point

Hello, I'm transitioning from hydroxyurea to jakafi and would like here from others who are on jakafi. What should I expect?
Should I be worried? Are the side effects bad?

Losing weight with Viagra.
A woman asks her husband at breakfast time, "Would you like some bacon and eggs, a slice of toast and maybe some grapefruit juice and coffee?" He declines. "Thanks for asking but I'm not hungry right now. It's this Viagra," he says. "It's really taken the edge off my appetite." At lunchtime, she asks
