Laxido

Blood test CT scan showed nothing amiss just loaded bowel .I have continued with a maintenace dose of laxido and senna which makes me go most days but still feel like there is something I cannot pass and still getting very hard motions between the mushy poos Laxido produces.

I still take dihydrocodeine and laxido. Does anyone have any idea why I am having this type of poop and smelly gas? 😑

I have expressed my frustration to the doctor who’s honesty I appreciated when she told me that scans don’t show anything and we won’t be referred unless she is reliant on the Laxido again and we keep a diary.

Is it normal to have low back pain on laxido. ?

my foster child has been on either Laxido or Movecol since he was 5years old, he is now 12. He had a brief time of no soiling during Covid and isolation, and another one a year ago where he didn’t soil. He has now been put on sodium Picosulfate, since November last year.

I have ibs bam i take colesevelam for the bam and laxido for ibs constipation seen gastroenterologist a few months ago se said take duloxetine as its supposed to be good for ibs and she did mention nerve pain and fibromalgyia i also have msk aswell so take paracetamol codiene for that now nd again if

can anyone tell me how long it takes to clear feacal impaction on 8 sachets a day laxido been on 4 days just watery poo still

and my Surgery told me a blood test could be only authorised by my doctor They checked my records and saw that I had regular blood tests and they agreed to give me one Tonight is absolute purgatory I haven't slept properly for over a year I keep a diary of what I eat and my bowel movements I am on Laxido

I am taking these regularly but find I’m having bad headaches.

I am on a15 mg BuTec patch every 7 days for chronic pain but it is causing really bad constipation ,I am at my wits end to know what else I can take other than the Laxido prescribed by the doctor ,I’m frightened to take to much as I am disabled and can’t walk unaided so I don’t want to cause diarrhea

The consultant told me to increase his laxido powders (we had been on 2 for a long while). We increased to 4 and saw lots of poo but more aggressive behaviour that was very difficult to manage.

I also seem to cycle between being constipated and being more loose, so I fluctuate between taking laxido/Movicol and simeticone as it seems to be the only thing that kind of helps that I've tried (also tried Husk, fibogel), without it I become completely bloated.

The doctor have give me laxido but doesn’t seem to be working . Any suggestions what I can do or try 😫

What comes out is small soft pellets, or liqued as I take 3 laxido a day. The GP also prescribed senna but that didn't help. I have an apppointment with gasterenterology on the 1st of May and I had a colonoscopy a year ago which found two polyps that were removed but that didn't help.

So, no fibre means constipated all the time now and have been given Laxido but am nervous of taking it. Any advice would be welcome . Thank you for reading this.

malabsorption last year January i have colesevelam for it was taking 3 a day but was getting really bad constipation, gastroenterologist said to just take 1 a day so i have been for the last few months but still getting constipation i dont eat a load of junk food i eat quite healthy i have to take movicol or laxido

Following the first bout I didn’t go to the toilet for a week, even after taking two separate doses of Laxido. Well last night it all kicked off again - pain & diarrhoea. Managed to speak to GP this morning & I am having blood tests tomorrow.

Been back and forward to the doctors again with a referral to the gastroenterology made and an 8 month waiting time.. in the mean time it's been trying peppermint oils, mebeverine, Laxido (tend to be more C than D) and have paid to have an intolerance test myself as to be honest the GP's just dont know

I swear every time I take this stuff I end up with really bad regurgitation and heartburn. Coincidence? I am on other medications.

I have Laxido, went up to 8 sachets for 2 days. Like soup. Docusate. Ispaghula Husk half a sachet a day. I have used syrup of figs, senakot, I don’t know if I’m coming or going. Still suffering headaches and back spasms.
