Potassium and RLS
My question is, if I take 40 mg of
lasix
how much potassium should I take? Or how much potassium do any of you take for RLS? Regardless of the
lasix
. I know too much is bad. There’s a careful balance.

The Strengths and Keys of my Recovery
I began with Spiro and
Lasix
/Furosemide. After 8 months I gradually began to wean off of them. First
Lasix
then Spiro. I was also told to lose weight. I lost 96lbs. I had to keep my sodium intake under 1500mg/day. I did/do. No red meat. Don't even miss it.

Update on my Dad
Now on oxygen, 3 antibiotics,
lasix
, potassium, norepinephrine. Have not seen him more upset and miserable. Revised the will and had my father’s visitors sign as witnesses. Whole family (grandchildren, sons-in-laws) has tearfully been here. I’m writing this from the companion bed in his iCU room.

I am trying to wein myself off all my tablets constantly, over what period were you able to come off Furosemide and how did you do it? I am starting to think miss a day when i wake up with the correct weight? I tried to reduce my dosage daily, but I think its better to skip the odd day here and there

Is it safe for my kid?
Hey My daughter is in fifth grade. She is very bad in her studies. When I ask her to study she used to sit in front of the book and cry. Initially I thought that it was her trick to get away from her studies. Last day in the open house her teacher told me the same. She asked me to take her to an eye

LASIK for improving eye sight
I have been experiencing blurred vision for a few years now. I had met with a surgery a few years back and had a blow to my head. A part of my optic nerve was damaged, because of which I have been losing vision. I started wearing glasses to correct it, but I not at ease with wearing spectacles. I mostly

I am a diabetic patient, will there be any problem in undergoing LASIK eye surgery?
Hey, I have two hyperactive children. I used to run behind them all day. As I am wearing spectacles, I find it very difficult to manage both my spectacles and my children. When I discussed this with my friend she suggested to use contact lenses. But when I thought of contact lens, my hubby said that

HF or not HF - That is the question!
I’m thinking she needs to increase the
lasix
, for a few days, and I have a call into her PCP. My question is this: Her EF is at 50% - which astounded me because I’m thinking the worst according to her EP! But she is seriously suffering with fluid retention again.

Ablation Follow up
Hello! I had the ablation last Wednesday. First off, those cath labs are amazing. The equipment is like whoaaa! My team was amazing from start to finish. They started in through my right thigh and found I was in flutter which they (hopefully) repaired at a 98% success rate. Afterwards they went through

Venetoclax and Swelling
I was on Venetoclax for 12 days late in March. My legs and feet began to swell and my oncologist took me off the medication on April 1. The edema has continued to this day. My cardiologist put me on 80 mg of Lasik twice a day and 25 mg of a diuretic once a day two weeks ago. The swelling has continued

Question on fluid draining with chf
She is on 40 mgs of
lasix
, metoprolol, Eliquis, levoxyl, and magnesium. I don’t think her kidneys are operating well either. I know, it doesn’t appear good. I just know she is getting worse with all the fluid in her. She is all right for now or I would take her to the ER tonight.

Platelet and fluid retention problem
In 5 days I have gotten 5 gallon of fluid out with
lasix
. I’m going to have to stay on
lasix
and cardio diet. Does anyone have a problem with fluid retention and dropping platelets so low. I also wanted to know if anyone has a problem with the shots to strengthen the bones?

Hospital put me on
lasix
for it but my husband takes chlorthalidone and it says it’s from estrogen fluid retention he takes for high blood pressure. This is a person that use to only take herbs now I’m on all these drugs and not thrilled about it but you have to do what you have to do.
