Lasix

I was put on Lasix 4mg 3 times weekly and remaining days 20 mg. R L s has gone mad — starts at 10 am and goes on till 5 am. Please help. Picol

Cardiologist loads me up with Metroprolol, flecanide, Lasix, Eliquis, Spironolactone, and now wants me to take Entresto that I read can cause Alzheimer's. I no longer trust meds or doctors. I wonder if drug companies pay doctors to prescribe their meds?

Did your doctor have reservation to prescribe lasix instead of spironolactone due to the potassium decrease? Any information or advise to get ride of the fluids are very much welcome 🙏🏼 ( home remedies, anything.Im trying everything) Thank you so much 🙏🏼 Warm regards

None of my meds are controlling it at all (I remained on Flecainide/digoxin/apixaban/lasix/& BP meds because AFib so refractory). So. Pace and ablate will control my rate but I still have crazy rhythm. Do I feel that crazy rhythm still?

I have a lot of fluid retention and Lasix did not help it much. Also continued chronic fatigue. Any advise on best chemo choice. He suggested a couple but will see what the recommendation is from my regular onco. The journey continues. Fight on brothers.

Special exam was done Renal with Lasix. I was told my Creatnine is 70 and my E GFR is >60. Also that I had a mild prolonged cortical phase in the right kidney. I'm lost I don't know what this all means. My urologist whom I have only seen 3 times said we will repeat exam in 6 months and monitor.

My son gets infusions of lasix about every week just to get the fluid from out of his body. He also plays baseball when he can, between infusions. Up to this point, he has been a very healthy child, playing many sports and is in great physical condition.

He want me to try lasix to help with urine but he has to be careful my blood pressure bern low .

Drs have said to eat more protein, wear compression stockings, elevate legs and scrotum and have him on 20mg lasix daily. Those things all help minimally. The edema really effects his mobility and is very painful for him.

I wondered if anyone else takes, I think the popular brand in the UK may be Lasix, with a potassium supplement.?

I had a successful RF ablation in May 2023, after which Dyazide was replaced by 20 mg Lasix, and the Bystolic was increased to 30 mg. Immediately after the ablation, my HR decreased from 90 to 55 and my BP decreased from 135/80 to 110/60. In September 2023, my BP started to increase.

I take lasix every other day and it is a bummer cause I have to take before abiraterone and prop my feet up too hours. Oncologist nurse says I can take abiraterone an hour afterwards, then wait another hour for protonix which requires 30 minutes before food. It’s 930 to 10am before I can eat.

In my case, I'm being treated with obinutuzumab, which has improved a little, but then I was prescribed 60 mg/day of furosemide (Lasix) to help with swelling. The problem is that it's done exactly the opposite and has overloaded my kidneys. I was already retaining some albumin and I lost it again.

Yesterday I convinced them to stop the Lasix and metformin since they're checking and giving insulin when necessary 4x a day and a side effect of it is lowering blood pressure. Today he was 90/45 which is better than yesterday but he still just wants to sleep. I'm at my wits end here.
