The relief of a tablet!
Well, I'm not one to moan about my health condition, but since June I've been suffering with terrible headaches ( cluster) they've been absolutely been brutal. I've been on a long term medication previously and it stopped working, and I've just started taking a new medication 💊, the headaches were so

I know this forum is primarily for those with advanced PCA, yet I regularly see posts by those who've only recently discovered the disease and are not in such adavanced stages, being treated only with 1st-generation ADT. Anyone felt as if drunk while on Relugovix?
After 13 months of ADT vacation, I've gone back on ADT last week. This time I am on Relugovix (Orgovyx) instead of Lupron. Since I exercise pretty much everyday, even upping my training a little more on the cardio side of late, I think I am doing not too bad against the fatigue from the ADT. Then

When can I restart donating blood?
Before my Dx, I had been a very regular blood donor. I am CMV (cytomegalovirus) negative, only about 15% of the population has not been exposed to this. As a result, my blood donations are set aside for infants. As an O positive donor, I was in the Heroes for Babies program as they can only receive

Provenge immunotherapy
After 5.5 years on Lupron (no Zytiga, Xtandi, Daro, etc.), my PSA hit its highest points ever (1.92), although I'm still not 2 points above my lowest reading of 0.5 (only one of those). I'm metastatic and was at diagnosis, so still have prostate. I've been researching Provenge a bit, and understand that

Difficulty walking. Would pred boost help.
Hello. I haven’t posted lately. I have been diligently tapering .5 mg every 5 to 6 weeks, previously on 9 years of pred with flare and set backs along the way including Avascular necrosis, osteoarthritis DDD to name a few. I am waiting for pain clinic spine injections and a referral to my back Dr. because

Neuropathy help?
Diagnosed June 2023, Started Lupron July, Zytiga and prednisone August, IMRT 28x 70gy, including distant oligometastatic retroperitoneal lymph nodes November. Everything going fine only minor side effects and I feel good. Then, May 1st 2024 I have sudden onset of peripheral neuropathy. Wow, what a buzzkill

The Existence of the Oligometastatic State in Prostate Cancer (and other cancers)
Members of the FPC Forum: I submit to you that either I am a Prophet/Visionary, or I am a Fool, but I state clearly... and emphatically...that the oligometastatic state exists in Prostate Cancer and other cancers as well..I believe that if we were to sum it up as an equation, that it would be something

Dexa scan report showing osteoporosis
Did a baseline Dexa scan report for dad who is 83 and with bone mets. Some areas like femur say osteoporosis. He does have mets there. Have started his ADT from today with relugolix. Worried about this dexa report. Would love to hear any inputs from those who had a similar situation.

Methionine restricted diet for recurring PSA and positive PMSA pet scan w/ 1 bone met
quick to the point. PSMA pet showed 1 L2 small met and some lymph activity. My PSA went from 2.01 to 2.9 in one month. after doing some research on diets and supplements . I found that the keto diet is extremely high in the amino acid methionine and I made it worse trying to reduce my blood pressure

Letrozole alone after a year of chemo
Hi everyone, my mom is currently being treated with only letrozole after a year of chemo which didn't work very well (she is 100% Er and Pr). She took it for 5 months after taxol and it worked much better, now she has a follow-up Pet scan after another 5 months. I wanted to know if any of you have successfully

Pluvicto
My dad had his 1st pluvicto injection beginning of May He had his PSA taken 3 weeks later. It went from 16 to 23. I’m hoping this isn’t an indicator that this will fail too. He has been dealing with prostate cancer for 20+ years -prostate removed - watching till number doubled - maybe 5 years
